Just thought of something interesting that i want to post about Liara and Shepard.

How would you rate Shepard and Liara's relationship? And how compatible as a couple do you think they are? And how would you see their relationship progress in the future and last what issues do you think they need to address if any?

I would rate it: 6/10 overall.

I sent a shepard to talk to the bartender, at the presidum (After the cerberus attack.)and he mentions one of his bartenders died. Could it be Liara's father who died?

Reposting this for the new page. As before I don't want to say a lot to keep from spoiling this one, but I'm just going to say it's easily my favorite of his entire series. Theo really has a way of capturing some powerful emotion.

Thanks a lot man, I'm really glad you think this way! It wasn't easy writing it to be sure, but I don't want to go into detail myself before more people see it.

10/10 for me! (with a Paragon Shepard)
Since in my headcanon Shepard and Liara go to Thessia after the war, the issues they would have is largely Shepard trying to get used to the things that are different there, but that is not necessarily relevant to their relationship. There is just a level of understanding between them that is admirable, really.

I noticed that, it was almost on page 2 last night. The forums in general seem to be moving a little slow for some reason this week.

And no problem, I enjoy reading your stories. You're probably one of my favorite authors.

Really compatible, they understand each other and they trust each other. I would see their relationship gradually improving over time.

Liara: Will she leaved her shadow broker job after the war. She sometimes gets jealous and obsessive.

Shepard : Shepard getting used to a new life after the war.

You know, as embarassing as this is to say, I had a few ideas on how to continue my old Liara/Shep fic, and then every single one of those ideas slipped away from me. I should've written them down or something. 

But if it ever comes back to me and I do continue it, it'll probably be an entirely separate story - I want to leave the old one as it is.

Without E.C I rate it a 5
With E.C I rate it a 7


What really brought it downas the freindzoneing. Sure I  get what they were trying to do, and I can respect it, but  the inconsistancy brought it down IMO. The fact that cheating sheps got more-or-less the same content as a loyal shepard,that  was somewhat annoying as well.

For me, I'd say 9.5/10.

10 seems like its pushing it a little for me. They're compatible, very compatible, but I imagine they still have their disagreements and arguments like any other couple, especially since my Shepard has always been a little bit on the Renegade side. So, 9.5.

I've been really busy here lately, with work and all (again!), so that's why I haven't posted for a few days. But good for me, you guys have also slowed down a bit, so I have managed to keep up with the thread even with this little time I've had to spare. I draw, however I am unbelievably slow at it. The one picture I am proud of doing has been nearly a year in the making and still only half-way done.

I can write however while I like what I do I dare not put up my stories in a contest with most of your guys here, that is just asking a low position, people here are really good writters.

For the best Liara image i think most of us will agree on one of the 4 Liara "photos" made by pineapple.

I don't think I can rate a single picture of Liara as being the "best" I love so many of her various pictures for varying reasons.
the ones pinapple makes are fantastic but I still think it is a shame that they are in black and white, Liara's bright blue skin and beautiful deep blue eyes are one of her most appealing physical aspects to me.
I think it was a real shame that in so many scenes in ME3 the ligthing was terribly unkind to her skin-colour, there was practically no scenes where her skin was visible in its true bright blue, even when she stood in natural light it did often appear more greyish than blue. I am also sad that with the exception of in the evacuation scene it is nearly impossible to see that amazing radiantly lustrous blue of her eyes that was so great in LotSB.

No, after the Coup-attempt there are two asari who gives you side-quests, one of which is a military officer in Purgatory I can't remember the other, but if you complete their quests both will mention Aethyta by name, saying somehting about having her full backing as a Matriarch, as such she has to be alive after that.

Same here, the only real problem (my) Shepard and Liara has had in their relationship was Liara being afraid to open up again after Shepard's death and that got solved beyond all expectations in LotSB.

Though I would obviously have liked it changed I can ignore the friendzoning as it is in my view more a case of story/gameplay segregation and a bit of bad writting than anything relevant to the romance itself.
The cheating bit does get me though, while I suppose it goes to show how compasionate she is that she is willing to believe Shepard did not intent to harm her and is willing to make it work she still does not deserve to be cheated on and I think a cheater should get null and void's worth for doing that.
Though at least she only sounds really unhesitatingly  happy and confident about their relationship to a loyal-throughout Shepard (if I am correctly aware).

And Top, I haven't used this in some time, phenomenal except for her having grey eyes IMO.

I really do love the textures and how vibrant Liara's skin and eyes can be, which is part of the reason I'm so about anana's images, it removes one of the most alluring parts of her, and it just seems like I'm left feeling...why? Why make an image of Liara and remove the blue and the spark in her eyes?

I'm glad you phrased it better than I could, Akernis, in talking about just how appealing Liara's skin can be, especially in the right lighting, and how it can bring out her eyes too. I'm a huge fan of when her skin is that bright, vibrant blue, and other times when it's a deep, exotic violet/purple looking color. It's really neat to me that lighting can make her skin shift so dramatically too.

Also something else about ME3 Liara compared to LotSB - her lips. I prefer the blue of her lips to the more purplish color in ME3.
