Wrex and Liara was my favourite combo in Me1 went well with Infaltrator Shep.

Btw my cannon Shepards who romanced Liara, his first name is "Commander"

I doubt it is Septimus. Was he not retired anyway? I think it is the Turian general that has been mentioned in CDN and LOTSB.

As far as I know, there is no way you can change your teammates models.
The only thing you can mod is playing as Liara and having Liara in your Squad.
There is a lot of Liara going on if you do LotSB this way.

Why? As they're still using Liara's seemingly unaltered face model, it becomes more and more apparent (or am I just being hopeful) that this is, in fact, a placeholder and Liara's ME3 look isn't finished yet. Also, with as much attention as her look garners among fans, I would not be surprised if they didn't release her final ME3 look before the release.

They already said that there is a reason why Liara has the face that she does in the demo and will will have to play to find out, so yeah... no LotSB face as far as i know. And if I were to guess the reason, it's probably because Liara went into matron stage.

That was said by the same guy who told no female turians for ME3.
He's just teasing us, Liara fanbase in general is very calm so probably he just wanted to shake us a little bit.
I was in the close conference of Gamescom and asked personaly about it and one told me the design aspects are not finished. So if is a placeholder or not, we will just have to wait to find out. I hope they keep Lotsb eyes though

This indeed. It was said by the same guy who said there were no female aliens apart from the krogan princess and Asari. Oh and the one who thought the turians developed the genophage. And that was just before it was all figured out that ME3 Liara face model = ME1 Liara face model. I wouldn't believe any of that 'reason' crap if I were you=]

I'm not sure how the romance scene would work with Miranda's; through clever camera angles they change Miranda from her normal outfit to an alternate with it being undone down to her chest (i.e. she's not actually undoing it, it's just a model swap) and it would look pretty odd if Liara was in that scene instead since there isn't an unzipped version of her outfit in the game (so parts of the cutscene would just be superfluous).

This makes me want ME1 sex scenes back.

I don't believe it is since her scalp is the same in other lighting conditions as well.

Take Liara with you to Noveria and take a good look at her scalp while you're in the research facility, particularly when walking under a column of light.

Not if it has something to do with what the one asari on Illium says: "Eventually you hit the matron stage....let your scalp go back to it's natural blue."
And asari can hit the matron and matriarch stage earlier, I wouldn't rule it out, but if that's the reason for the change, it's very lame in my opinion.

But either way, I'm not interested anymore in why they change her for every game. A lot of Squadis will get a makeover.

Something I always thought about was lifespan, but I think Shepard and Liara are "above" letting that bother the relationship. Didn't Liara say asari don't even really think about it anyway? And don't asari all believe in some kind of afterlife?

Well, is not ME1 model enterely, you can appreciate that better in the PC demo, was kind of a Lotsb and ME1 hybrid, and the scalp was pretty white, you can check out my post in page 148 about that.
Anyway, normally designers make a lot of versions for a same thing, so still could be a placeholder, we will see
