Ouch! I have two external hard drives that I back up all my stuff on. Friends laugh and say that I overkill with the double save. But better safe then sorry is my motto. And if the two hard drives go then I really was not meant to have the stuff.

I also sent you this in the last page ... coincidence? Or did Tali & I know that you were in dire need of her and the liquid? Hmmmmmm.

Terrible. I have one external hard drive and luckily nothing like that ever happend to me on a external hard drive. BUT my old PC kinda crashed I believe 3 times and I lost soooooo much freaking data like pics/movies ect. 3 times new installing the old PC was like . So I know how you feel moreeman06. You have my sorry.

In the bar on Illium Shepard can purchase a couple different drinks, one of which is Asari honey-wine. I don't remember what color the drink is when Shepard chugs it however. Patriarch (Aria's pet Krogan) also says something about an expensive version of it being sold at Afterlife, that is brewed at an Ardat-Yakshi monastery.

When we go to Thessia we see that much buildings follow a design pattern. Most of the buildings are of the same design or identical design. That surprised me. Humans architecture varies. You go to earth and you see that buildings are of different design. Are Humans really the most individualistic species in the galaxy? Also most of the building in Thessia have a blue tone. It seems that the color blue plays and important role in Asari culture.

We only really see one city on Thessia, and even then the style of architecture seemed different than Nos Astra, the Asari city we visit on Illium. So while we are only able to compare two Asari cities, it seems more likely given the differences between the two that Asari architecture styles vary as much from city to city as they do on Earth.

I'd say the lack of diversity is more the result of game designers being restricted by budget,  technology and ... well ... game design than a true statement about Asari culture.

The designers wanted to have a coherent, iconic look and feel for the Asari worlds so they didn't deviate too much from this very particular style we see on Thessia and in the Monastery. (It's all based on real buildings btw, on the work of the architect Santiago Calatrava. Pre release there was even an official Thessia concept piece floating around that was partially put together from photos of his architecture.)

The way I interpret it, the Asari have the richest culture of all the advanced races in the ME universe and it's a very important part of their racial identity, not only in the eyes of others but in their own understanding. Heck, they look down on their own 'pureblood' offspring because they believe that hampers the diversification of the Asari race and gains them no new knowledge.

With all that in mind, I just can't see them being really so restricted in their architectonical (or any other cultural) vocabular ...

haha that's great I'm thinking of picking up another external tomorow because i just reformatted and it's going to take all night just for my recovery programs to run through and decide what they want to restore if anything.  It's more of a drag than anything, and sorry i didn't see i just hopped on to say hi but yes i guess you and Tali did know that i was in dire need of some liquid courage and her the only thing missing now is Liara

I wouldn't say richest culture of all advanced races. I would say one of the richest culture. But that seems giving them a lot of credit. Since we don't know much about their culture. That is no proof of their architecture variety. All cities could look the same or be different. Still doesn't explain why all their buildings are blue? I wonder if the color blue has any cultural significance to them.

I agree but eh, it's just the artstyle. I'ts not as bad, as that over-cutified, face-palm inducing, abomination, of an offical JP comic.

Pretty much everything about ME3 can be explained by lack of time and resources.

Actually, that is pretty good for a  control choice fic.

So every now and then I find a comic strip or youtube video of the ME3 ending but a lot of them are femshep and involve other LIs that aren't Liara.. I was wondering if anyone had a Liara one?
Here's an example of one I found with Garrus and Fem Shep.. (why is femshep so popular )

It's the best I have seen by far (something tells me I'm late and you've all seen it) but yeah.. I'm in need of some Liara and Male Shep! So if you have anything that isn't just another gif (which Liara gets a lot of) or picture please share. I know there's fan fics out there.. but I never know which one to read so if you have a favorite I'll take that too .. Male Shep tho

The cat is most likely staring evilly at the child.

But really, I just love everyone's expression in this picture, including the cat's. Even though you can't see it you know its looking  curiously at the asari.

TO be fair that ending was  about a blue beam,and liara is blue so..:innocent:

If you mean femshep/liara? Then honestly it's just alot of variables, that added up. Ihad a more indepth post about it,( but bleh not sifting through thousands of pages to find it.) Liara/Femshep is more popular, and thats just pretty much it. 

I prefer broshep, but eh oh well life goes on. I can't reccomend much broshep/liara fanfiction, because of lack of quality.( Moremans and Theos I reccomend! I can't think of the other ones right now.)
