@PMC Thanks for the salute, I haven't played a renegade playthrough, I wonder what the dialog is when Shepard makes Liara salute.

I think the hat makes her look mysterious and superior, without it she looks ... off ?
But her skirt looks terrible

Agreed I always take both.  While the paragon one is very paragon-ish (not a bad thing, it just is) I don't think the renegade one is all that renegade.  Yes its very direct and Shep is a little harsh, but I would imagine with the situation as it is, any Shepard would be more than a little protective of Liara.  Also its just really awesome to use Aethyta's line back at her.

This, but so far I only have the vanguard, which I got in the Starer Pack when I bought it for PC to play MP as while SP was fun on PS3, MP wasn't. That's not why I quote you now. The connection issue of yours, is it a shaking walking that escalates into you falling, tp-ing up and repeat? If so, it's not at all about your conenction, but a bug affecting vanguards, I get it every 5-10th match, usually after wave 5.

That could be right. If you think about it, for example Aethyta, I just say now that Benezia and Aethyta have almost the same age. +- a few years, so the indoctrination changed her skin into a more corrupted stage.

Even if that is not the case a person's mindset can really twist and corrupt how they appear and you don't get a much more unpleasent mindset than being mind-controlled by evil genocidal machines.

I have no doubt that when in ME3 Liara says "I thought she was the most beautiful woman in the world" that she sincerely meant it. Like mother, like daughter.

Makes me wonder if Asari children always takes more after the mother than human children do.

I always change squadmates for missions so that by the end of the game I've used them all, but I don't believe I've ever had Liara and Kaidan on the same team. I'm just curious which of the two ends up arguing for the renegade path on major decisions like the fate of the Rachni Queen or the Council, since both characters are the biggest paragons on the ME1 squad.

I pretty much only use Kaidan and Liara in ME 1, (my two favourite characters) and if i'm remembering correctly as it's been a few months since I last played, Liara always takes the renegade lines unless you have renageded Kaidan.

Now that you mention it I think I remember someone saying ages ago in one of the other Liara threads, that Liara administers the coup de grace to Saren if you bring her and Kaidan for the final battle. Though I guess that would be reversed if you make Kaidan more renegade.

I always bring Garrus and Liara for the final battle in ME1, and Garrus is always the one to blast Saren.

I brought Garrus and Liara for the final battle in ME1 an ME3.
It seems logical to bring your best Alien Bud and you LI with you at the end.

I brought Liara and Garrus along for the ME3 EC beam rush after an initial test run with Vega and Javik.

I miss forcing Liara to wear human armor in ME1 with the helmet on.. she looked almost like a little kid with her predator armor being green and the rest of her being blue
I hope they come out with an appearance pack for ME3. I don't mind the outfits now but kind of tired of ALWAYS seeing Liara in white

She looks exceedingly thin and drawn—which, not coincidentally, is why I am not sold on the Pineapple images of Liara—where asari typically seem to have very soft features. It makes a big difference and could, conceivably, be considered a result of the indoctrination.

Hell, how’s this for headcanon: with her remnants of will, she was trying to gradually starve herself, knowing that it would at the very least impact her biotics?

You are a Captain, which is a higher ranking than Commander.

The hierarchy goes like this (at least until anyone ask for reassignment of responsibilities):

Karmen: Captain of Strategy, Command & Oversight 
moreeman: Captain of Logistics, Arsenal & Armaments

Akernis: Commander of Tactics, Special Forces & Diplomacy

Cohina: Lieutenant of Reconnaissance, Surveillance  & Intelligence 
Theodoro: Lieutenant of Moral, Recruitment, Training & Discipline

I would also like to publicly apologize to my dear friend Lizard for not being there for him at the moment of need. But seriously guys, I recommend you reading that fic too, I know many of you are heavy consumers of fanfics so give it a go and help a fellow forumite by leaving him a comment on his fic, I know he'd appreciate that.  And he has managed to keep me who "never read fics" interested, so it can't be that bad .

Shepard: I don't care what the rest of the galaxy thinks about me. On this ship, I am in charge. And I don't like my crew digging into my past!

Liara: Understood, Commander. [Salutes] I will keep our relationship strictly professional from now on.

That really fits one of my Shepards who doesn’t want her past exposed ... at all. So when Liara started looking into it, that Shepard panicked inside and blew.

EDIT: Just saw this on another thread and spit my coffee everywhere.
