@mavqt - There are some pretty funny ones there on that thread. This one just killed me.
@ex_uralsk ... Thanks! That is what poor Shepard was afraid she might see at Omega after two years of being away. Or maybe Liara is undercover in a bar on Illium? Matriarch Aethyta would just love to see that, "Well look here ... Nezzy's kid shaking her as5! And after all that schooling!"

The motivational thread. Such a wonderful place.
I find the S/N way too low to be able to read those threads…I trust others to do the weeding-out of unfunny material for me.
I have to admit I don’t really get this ‘Bioware HQ’ one. I mean, it makes sense logically, but I assume I’m missing some reference that makes it hilarious.
…
Since it’s dead-dead-deadsky, I’m going to bother y’all to read “Unity” and tell me how I’m doing with Liara (or, you know, just enjoy the tale). I’m quite happy myself, but all input is welcome, whether individual chapters or sections, or the whole thing.
The only chapters, out of 28, that do not feature Liara at all are 1–4, and 7. (I’m biased and think the whole story is worth reading, but in case you want to just view the Liara bits^_^)

Requisition officer: All right, rations, weapons mods, anti-indoctrination cream, one 9 foot hollow steel pole special order/delivery from omega... wait what?
No. not missing anything. its that simple. Liara's gorilla-like aggressive posture like she's going to open a can of whoop ass on some bad writers that were insistent on killing off her Shepard to make some sort of point.I have to admit I don’t really get this ‘Bioware HQ’ one. I mean, it

Motivational thread - they have some winners in there ill admit lol but most just seem somewhat juvenile and pretty meh-ish.

Mine was being ninja manced or forced into a relationship with jacob. Thank god that one wasn't true, shepard's tone with him had me wondering for awhile and reloading saves thinking I'd triggered something i didnt want! Undo! UNDO!
hell i didnt even expect to see Liara in the second game, so no high hopes there (expected an honorable mention of her name and maybe a memory flash back and thats it) - even though she had changed somewhat, I was still somewhat pleased to see her followed by a quick "wtf thats it?"

It seems that activity is very erratic currently, some days we get no more than a post once every third hour and some we get three plus pages a single day. Added to that it also seems like some of our regulars are currently away.Ravii wrote...

I never did, not only did it not seem like her at all but I did not get any romance related feel of the whole situation with Liara in relation to Feron in ME2.shepard1038 wrote...

I was afraid that she had become cold after the ordeal of loosing Shepard but unfaithful never crossed my mind until someone mentioned it in the thread and by that point I had already read Redemption where there was no hint whatsoever of there being anything between them beyond an alliance of convenience and at the end some measure of respect/loyalty.

Followed by Casey hudson frivolously turning his back and waving his hand in the air, nonchalantly informing his staff to: "let them eat cake!" and fed them dry, moldy, speculative nonsense.
Or maybe he saw the error and simply rested his head against the window, staring in horror at the bitter crowds he so desperately wished to cater to and failed miserably and merely gasped, "MY god...what have i done."

Feron ... Liara's "friend".
Yep, my Shepard was expecting Liara to have a true confessions moment at any point.
But then when she saw that Feron was a drell ... she hatched an evil plan. No need to confront Liara with her doubts ... No. Having seen how Thane had those weird flashbacks she was going to get Feron alone and then ...
Shepard smiles and says ... "Liara's kiss."
Feron hearing the words slipped into the drell flashback mode ... "Soft blue lips ... pushes me away ... I shouldn't ... pulls me back ... the taste of cinnamon ... deep, ha-"
Shepard slips into a renegade interrupt ... BAM!
Poor dead Feron. Fell on a bullet.
EDIT: spelling
And on a serious note ... Half of me was hoping that Liara was going to leave Shepard and the other half hoping that she wasn't. I was prepared for both outcomes.

Shep was dead for two years - why should she fear her moving on with Feron. ...really it wasn't a fearful prospect for my shepard - it made sense in her eyes, ME1/Ilos was merely enjoyment of the moment and satiating curiosities - nothing more. Come Liara reunite in ME2, she's still in a frame of mind that what they had was an interesting fling that she indulged in 2 years ago and seeing Liara's behaviour had her thinking that a part of shepard must of rubbed off (*perv sense tingling*) on Liara during their melds and that the Asari really had moved on (until the "i couldnt let you go" slap in the face comment, that one lingered with shep all the way through the game/suicide mission - drove her nuts). Wasn't until after the suicide mission and during LotSB did she realized just how far she had fallen for Liara - realized when she recognized the undesirable swelling of jealousy in her gut everytime Liara gasped the name "Feron" and the overwhelming prickling urge to keep questioning Feron as he sat in that chair.
"Shepard, really? We need to go!"
"Nah nah, just a couple more questions, Liara. Its crucial."
"How is it crucial we know what he had for breakfast, the name origin's of his first pet, and the nature of his previous relationships?"
"They're character questions! The guys a double.. or was it triple.. agent, I want to know who I'm freeing here!"
"Honestly, Shepard - he's nearly unconcious from your incessant questioning!"
"Augh.. fine... " *glances back to feron, scowling*
@PMC oh you do have a renegade side. *wipes away a tear* I think im falling for you. No. nevermind, just a crack in the floor, stumbled. False alarm

I don't play paragon/renegade myself ... I go with what feels right in that moment. A good mix is a result. But I will say that I played ME once as me. Making decisions if the game were real life and man was that bar RED.

@doozer12 - The point where Shepard and Liara falls in love is up to the player, isn't it? While some players go with the love at first sight ... others think it was much later and after Shepard came back to life. I see Liara falling for Shepard way before Shepard gets a clue to how she feels for the asari.

Oh it is, we all roleplay differently, every shep a unique and differing char from the other shepard - hence "my shepard". Did i miss one? Agh *runs back to correct*
But yea, its believable Liara fell for shep long before shep figured it out, at least in my shep's case. As far as a self insert playthrough is concerned... uhm.. *coughs* well.. just don't put me in command of saving the galaxy anytime soon...

But if Shep did romance Liara in ME1, it'd be out of character for her to drop Shep and shack up with Feron.

I don't really see her with anyone but Shepard. But then there is no un-Liara-romanced Shepards in my games anymore so I can't really think about that objectively *shrug*.Aristobulus500 wrote...
