We can't see the kids face but if she's anything like me below is my usual reaction to when those twisted folk sneak up on me in multiplayer, I've lost alot of tasty beverages because of them<_<

Some more omni-tool action before I call it a night, need sleep to function-_-

Torfan is characterized as a bloodbath against a hardened target, though with Elysium they do give the odds Shepard faced when he or she went to plug a gap in the line alone, Shepard went solo against an entire Platoon with is about 30 - 50 soldiers. The odds are so suicidal that I can't see any trained Officer choosing to put themselves in that situation willingly, unless they unwittingly walked into the situation checking a section of the line or they had a death wish.
Bad odds are 3:1 suicidal odds are 40:1. I wouldn't guess at what the statistical odds of surviving an action like that are but they would be low, very low. Which fits if the requirements for the Star of Terra are anything like the Victoria Cross or Medal of Honor most of those who earn the award earn it posthumously.
Joker also makes a reference in ME3 to Shepard facing 10,000 Batarians at Elysium, though it isn't really clear if he was being exact or just using 10,000 in the same sense that someone might say 'a sh_tload."
But considering that the Batarians main objective was a major city with over a million inhabitants, 10,000 sounds about right.
We are also told that Shepard held them off with a force that was massively outnumbered, so I don't imagine Shepard fielded more than a few hundred men.
Details are sparse, but the Battle of Elysium sounds like it is right up there with Thermopylae

Ancient historians were much more concerned with telling a good story than telling the truth, and Herodotus was no exception. The Persian Army was probably a lot to closer to around 80,000 men. Still quite a bit more than the 7,000 Greeks defending the pass of course, but that is roughly 11 to 1 odds.
If Shepard faced 10,000 Batarians with fewer than a thousand men, the odds are in the same neighborhood or worse.

Ok: revealing the secret asari withheld protehan beacon tech from the rest of galaxy after the reaper war after the heck shepard got in ME1 for even suggesting witholding such a thing... - anyways, reaper aftermath: support or keep secret? (this is assuming it doesnt take long to rebuild mass relay travel and shepard and crew are the only ones who know, etc etc)
...or would it all ready be "cat out of the bag" status.

Anyone know if the comics of Liara are worth the buy?
You would think something as great as ME would have stuff coming out like Star Wars does where there's always something new.. grr

Im thinking no... because Mac walters had a hand in it... but with the upcoming comic - liara's writer sylvia did have a hand it.. (right?) so maybe it might not be so bad? ...although I hear the garrus one that just came out was pretty - meh. ditto with vega. havnt actually looked into tali feedback yet...
As far as SP content.. not sure. Aside from manaan screenshot - no idea how often theyll punch those out, not that i expect a great deal of decent story coming out of them... they better make me feel some serious feels..otherwise waste of money.

Good question, hopefully people like councilor Tevos and other matriachs will suffer the consequences and be put on trial or something.

Yeah I looked at previews for a few of the comics and they didn't seem worth it.. they could've at least gone into detail on Liara's change from ME1 to ME2 *sigh* how does one create something so beautiful such as the Mass Effect universe.. and then not do anything great with it :[
Sometimes I feel like just walking into Bioware offices Commander Shepard style.. point my finger at them Commander Shepard style and asking "Wtf is going on here!? Get a move on it soldiers! There are ME character out there that need writing!"

Hello fellow Liara fans! I have a question that maybe some of you can answer. In the EC, the new scene where a squad member tells Joker "It's time to go", what determines which squaddie says that line?
In two of my different playthroughs (both Liara LI of course), the first one has Liara saying it, but in the other one it's Ashley. Maybe it has something to do with how many missions you take them on, but I'm not sure. It's a very small problem of course, but I was just wondering if any of you knew about this.
Thanks in advance!
I think it depends on which companions you have with you on the run to the beam on earth. I used Liara and EDI in my squad and Ashley was the one telling Joker it's time to go (I rarely used her).

I took Javik and Vega the first time through and Liara and Garrus the second, and both times I got Ashley as well. Makes sense I suppose considering she is probably the highest ranking officer aboard the Normandy after Shepard.

I had... liara and garrus with me. Got ashley for both the joker departure scene and normandy walk out (pre-ec). And I agree - makes sense. Talked to her more, and she is pretty much next in command.I

I read somewhere that it's suppose to be the most favored characters but I think I favored everyone equally in ME3 being that I went through every convo after every mission and all that. I always get Javik and usually bring Liara and Garrus

Yes, Tevos is pretty darn sexy, but that does change the fact that withholding that information has to be one of the disgusting actions of the entire franchise. It deserves repurcussions.

There might be some playful spanking in the future
But seriously, I think the issue will more than likely be thrown under the rug. Everyone who knows about it is dead (TIM, Kai Leng), or has no interest in revealing the truth (Liara, Tevos).

If Vigil 2.0 came out and said "The reapers are coming! The reapers are coming!" then wow! That was a fail and cost them Thessia. Yep, that planet got hit hard! So I'm cool with that as their punishment. Heck, even if they had known and shared the message, something tells me he wouldn't have been believed anyway.
After the war please no trials ... in fact, I would like all trial attorneys banned going forward. The reapers caused this death and destruction and everyone paid. Reapers dead ... everyone move along. Focus on re-building and not finding more people to blame.
