I'm not really surprised with that answer. I haven't found anyone who actually was invested and gave the romance a real try, to say they didn't like it. Whereas people who only casually glanced at it, if they did at all, and were only looking at it after already deciding on a romance? Of course these kinds of people don't like it.
You have to actually let yourself get invested in a Shepard romancing her, and invested in the romance itself, to see the strength of it. "I watched it on youtube with someone else's Shepard"
There's no attachment there, how could you possibly like it? You simply won't.

I can see where your coming from. I have watched all the romances and I thought they were all great. But even as much as I like Garrus, Miranda and Kaidan's, I just cannot picture my Shep with anyone but Liara.

I actually felt the same way about the Liara romance a few years ago, having only watched it on YouTube instead of trying it. Now, after actually doing it in-game, well, I find it difficult to romance anyone else, lol.

It's all good^^. Everyone has their own taste.
I actually played FF13 before I played ME and absolutely fell in love with Lightning right away. And then the same thing happened with Liara when I played ME but at first I had no idea the two shared the same VA. That is partially due to the two being vastly different characters but a large element of that does belong to Ms. Hillis's work. She really does create a distinct voice for both characters and I think that shows her talent as a VA. (I think she is also a really good film actress as well. If you haven't seen "Nesting" yet you should. Ms. Hillis is wonderful in it.)
Needless to say, I was beyond excited when I found out Liara and Lightning had the same VA. It made me love them both even more.
P.S. Who is on your "10 Most Annoying ME Characters" list?
I hope that my "10 Most Annoying ME Characters" list doesn't affend anyone but here it is: Ashley, Kaiden, Tali, Morinth, Diana Allers, Henry Lawson, Steve Cortez, James, Samantha Traynor, and Admiral Hackett (all in no particular order because they all annoy me lol!) Liara's not on it you'll notice which means that I actually like her (as Shepard's friend of course.)

ALso, people. I think Final Fantasy ment that she dosent like Liara's personality "As a LI, as it pertains to her Shepard", as in personaly preference. I doubt anything malicious was ment. Also, if she just likes Liara as a friend, that is fine too. I think the problem is perharps a better choise of words should have been made is all. No biggy.

I've seen lots of screenshots of FemShep in various states of undress (roll a Male Shep myself) but never noticed the N7 bra.
It is kind of funny I suppose, though Bioware over did it with plastering the N7 label everywhere.
