Yes, love happens. But what would be the most likely person for somebody to love given their own past and personality?lillitheris wrote...
Define ‘best’.
Love happens. If you’re not certain, flip a coin that represents body chemistries. Both work. (I’m dying to make a heads vs. tails joke here, but that would be unfair.)
I’m sorry I don’t have any more sensible input; I just never understood this question. Not a knock on you, jtav, my brain just doesn’t seem to have the required components for this.
It's not something that can make or break a romance, but it can be a factor, whether it's something on a subconscious level or not. And after all, this is roleplaying - and most of the time you find yourself playing or writing other characters, so there's no harm in thinking about this.

Wow, hold on. Me is a bit confused right now; is it stated in the books that Aria has more daugthers than just Liselle or is it only in Unity that you have made it so??
I´m only asking because I´m curious about it

You guys should really state whether pictures contain nudity or not... It's just really awkward. Thanks.

Oh come on! As if this was the first time a love-crazed banshee girl 'redecorated' your lab...
And you might remember a certain tastefully furnished office that mysteriously burned down shortly after you left it? Finding that asari / human thingy can't possibly be more difficult than sorting through the charred remains of my beloved 15m² desk full of important PR documents! What's so special about her anyway?

It’s only in Unity (although it’s not contradicted either).

Hey everyone I'm back from my vaca and i have to say i worked more up there than i do back home *grumbles about cousins needing to build a rock wall for her lake house* I absolutely loved it up there though it was a great week. Now i come back here though and i find that i have 25 pages to read you guys just can't give me a break can you....
Good to have you back, Moreeman, welcome in the thread again! Sounds like a really nice trip. I was away myself and returned just yesterday. I had a lot to catch up on, too.

Oh, you most certainly will have a lot to read, believe me - anything more than a day and it's exhausting, really, I just managed to read it all myself! Hopefully you'll have a good trip - can't promise that the thread wouldn't have exploded in the meantime, though.SergeantSnookie wrote...
I'm actually going to be gone on Wednesday, talking about trips. Driving over to France (Finally got my damn car fixed after a nasty crash a few weeks back.) I'll only be gone for about 6 days, but I guess its safe to assume I'll have a ridiculous number of pages to catch up on when I get back?
Thanks! You have a new chapter of Recovery yourself, I think, and I'll give that a look as well.moreeman06 wrote...
well welcome back to you to theo, I still have to read your last fic hopefully I'll be able to read it by the end of the week
It doesn't work like that because you're not a fictional character that somebody is playing or writing.lillitheris wrote...
It doesn’t really work like that in my experience, that’s my point [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/joyful.png[/smilie]Theodoro wrote...

It doesn't work any differently for the characters, but it's different for the author, because he/she is writing or playing them, and in that way deciding what the 'best' match is for their Shepard - a fictional character that they shape out the details for, and that's just one of the many. That is my interpretation of the concept.lillitheris wrote...
I don’t see why it should work any differently, for best fidelity.
Like I keep saying, I just do not understand the concept myself. I don’t understand what the goal is. If you do, you’re most welcome to keep on puzzling out what ‘best’ means. I offered what little input I had from my perspective.

So yeah, let me know what you guys think. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. If you're interested at seeing the other characters that I have so far, you can see them on my blog.
Thanks again!

SergeantSnookie - Very jealous of you right now. I love, love, love France. Did I say love? I ADORE France. Have a safe and fun trip ... take plenty of pictures! au revoir & tout de suite ... Okay, tout de suite doesn't fit but I love saying it.
EDIT: Fans to France.
This really is a lot of roleplaying at work here, especially in jtav's case when he has laid out a lot of details about his Shepard that we can't have them come into play into the game directly - such as the extended background information. I think something like that is enough to be able to decide which LI feels the most natural choice, hence why I offered my view about it and what I personally felt would be natural. And here lies the difference, where people can have different interpretations about the character because it's a fictional one and can have discussions about it, when in reality a real person would know him/herself and falling in love would be a truly natural thing that nobody else can define for him or her.lillitheris wrote...
Right, so you have to define ‘best’.
On what basis is such a decision made? If no option feels natural, then you either do it as mother nature does and roll a die, or lay out the result that you wish to achieve and then count the beans to see who gets closest.
…And, of course, even if you lay out all those details, answers here will still depend vastly on everyone’s interpretations of the characters—which may be quite different from what jtav’s are. Maybe this Shepard needs some kind of subtle therapy with all his trauma? Half of us will think one character is going to be better at it than the other.

I saw this question on the Sam thread and I thought it was interesting so I'll just insert Liara. If Liara was given the three choices by the catalyst which choice would you think she'd choose? And you can elaborate if you like.

Oh yeah, our banshee girl really likes to swing dem hips. Maybe I should stop distracting her with terrible music videos every day while the cleaning crew is in her room to remove all those gnawed off bones ...DevilBeast wrote...
I told you it was an accident!! How did I know that the three different colored buttons all lead to the same conclusion (read explosion)?? I believe our jesters Mac and Casey were also punished for it (or so I was told).
Anyway, she´s important because she is the only specimen who is actually capable of melding like a true asari. All the others just looked like blue women with hair tentacles:?.
And as for the banshee: I had never tried ryncol before, and Moree decided not to tell me that she wasn´t the asari dancer that was performing that day.
Damn you Moree<_<
