I'm sorry for interrupt but may someone tell me if that Liara romance bug was fixed with EC? (I'm talking about that  line when she doesn't remember romance from LotSB).

Well as Legion said windows are a structural weakness Geth do not use them, I remember when the question was posed here how come asari don't bother with underwear? The bras as a structural weakness example was used then lol! Although not wearing a bra is more of a structural weakness, irregardless that made me laugh... and nevermind my ramblings.

the bug is still there. maybe someday they will fix it

Yep I'm a shameless fangirl but for me this is ridiculously accurate, I've tried to create a femshep with the purpose to romance someone else but Liara just reeled her in like the others. It's just impossible to resist her, Shep knows it too:wub: I created another to romance Kaidan but lost interest pretty quick, I'll never stray again:P

I love the necklace in this picture but I wonder would asari even wear jewellery? Perhaps the only occasion they may wear jewellery is for their bonding ceremony or perhaps not. I'd imagine most Sheps would like to give a nice piece of jewellery to Liara for special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries and so forth or simply just to show your love for her, who wouldn't like a bit of bling now and again.

I assume they would, but that it probably has more to do with the individual than their entire race, some would wear it others would not. I can see Liara using subtle jewelry like a simple necklace on occasion but I don't think she would wear something very elaborate or pompous.

That is the purpose of my story "Birthday", though in that case the roles are reversed, Liara having made a necklace for Shepard's birthday , which is even going to play an important role in Chapter 7 or 8 of my alternative ending fic.

As for the how dark did Liara go thing well my two cents is that 

I don't believe Liara would have intentionally killed innocents and if she did whether purposefully or inadvertantly it would have weighed heavily on her concious that being said for all of you using her compassionate nature as a reason why she wouldn't follow through on threats of physical harm,  you have to remember that compassion can be equally good and bad.  When you love someone as much as Liara loved Shepard, to the point where you went to recover your lover's body on the slim chance that they might be able to revive him what wouldn't you do to ensure that those that tried to stop you got their comeuppance.  What I'm trying to get at that Compassion is a very important factor in Love but it also factors in greatly when your focusing on acts of revenge for your love.  So do i think Liara's done some things she's not proud of yes.  I don't think she did anything illicit and sexual with others but I do believe that  she was able to use whatever savings/contacts/resources she had left from her pre-Therum life (I do believe that Benezia would have forced her to create some connections with the powerful and wealthy in both the Asari and other cultures considering Benezia's own status and hopes for her daughter.)  as well as whatever connections she kept with the Alliance from her time with Shepard to quicly accumulate a strong power base and that whether she completed these violent/dark acts herself or had a agent do so she was still responsible for those acts.  I also think that she would try and hide most of these things from Shepard like I'm sure Shepard would have tried to hide the fact that he knowingly chose genocide in order to defeat the Reapers out of a sense of shame and guilt.  Out of the sense that Shepard knowing those things would cause him to stop loving her, to resent her or in a extreme hate her.   I think I'm actually going to explore this now in my next post ME3 fan fic although *spoilers*  I've already revealed that Liara knows about the Crucible and what happened  when she sees Tiberius.  comatose Shepard just can't hide any secrets:whistle:

*feels self being pulled back into hug*  If i don't return tell Liara.... Tell Liara I....  *succumbs to Karmen's death hug again*

Seamless plug there Akernis:D So many writers in this thread it's hard to keep up but you have peaked my interest as Liara putting so much thought into a gift for Shep sounds adorable^_^ I love stories that add or are written from Liara's POV:wub: Will add this to my reading list:wizard:

Not that Femshep has much choice, in the mattter. If you dont dig Turians or Alenko, then  well sorry but your Femshep has to dig Liara or Traynor. I  play broshep, but seeing things from the other side makes me go :/

Liara is my Shep's Lover and Protector.......after I read the Redemption novel I was like "dang Liara I did not know you cared that much lol" Liara would have moved heaven and earth to be with our Sheps again, it was impressive my Shep was drawn to here character because of this. This alien women protected him in his most vulnerable state that speaks volumes and makes your Shep. appreciate her even more.

It was hard not to fall for her a man or women that ignores someone like that is beyond stupid, just a very well done character.

I kinda feel like they do focus on Liara slightly more than the other squadmates.. maybe because she got her own comic.
But in general I think Bioware needs to start releasing more that isn't multiplayer (even though that seems to be working for them). Don't know.. feel like they haven't released something really worth getting or just looking at in awhile that makes me say *Smeagol voice* "I WANTS IT.."
And they seem to like releasing things one at a time also.. which makes it annoying when you're not interested in it and it takes so long for them to release another thing.. am I making sense? ._.

I think eventually she would have had to follow up on those threats if he didn't pay, otherwise she'd fail as an information broker. She'd have to send a message to other clients that they couldn't skip out on their debts with impunity.

But between the threats and outright murder, I think she still had some other options to collect that debt. Blackmail is one. Sending muscle to smack him around or physically intimidate him is another. There would be an escalation of force and killing would be the final stage, when she had given up hope of the debt ever being collected.

Both the dress and jewelry are also something I can picture Liara wearing.

I imagine jewelry would also be popular with the Asari as well. After all what makes gems like diamonds, emeralds or sapphires so highly valued by humans, besides their aethestic value, is their rarity. They'd likely be just as rare on Thessia.

Ok maybe not necessarily earth's own gemstones (although i reckon most other planets have similiar ones) - but there's bound to be some priceless rarities (metals, stones, fossils, etc) in the galaxy that are bound to wind up in unique pieces of jewellery (mined from a dying system that no longer exists, artifacts from long dead races, difficult to mine planets/moons/asteroids) and whatnot available for trade at immense cost.

It was more of an example that they can be planets that are rich in diamonds. And that there is a possibility that diamonds are not rare. Humans like diamonds, because they play a part in our culture and because they are rare to find and we like how they look. Asari may not think the same. And also the diamonds that we have found on earth are not all the diamonds that there is on earth.
