@Rubynorman, Shep is irresistible I'll give her that. *Swoon* I can't be the only one who really loves when Liara's eyes turn deep black like that. Perhaps my opinion is heavily influenced by all the detailed Liara/Femshep pieces I've been reading. Ah well f*ck it, too many good writers out there, it's their fault really.



The friendship gift scene is beautiful too, aww Liara is so sweet here, you know she loves Shep, fortunately my Shep isn't dumb.

Knew it was Liara who had prepared the room, only she knows Shepard's tastes enough. And of course there is something else I would like to do with or rather in the room Liara, can you come up for a bit?

If you made this then you are an artist, in skill and creativity if not profession. I really like it, not at all a fan of Control but the picture itself is very nice
I think you did a great job with Liara and like the effect of not-really-present Shepard.

Well, this is the eternity embracing that happens in a hospital filled with soldiers most likely moaning in agony, I prefer a different kind of embracing happening in a different place!

But I see your point, Shepard and Liara will just have to make a more therough joining after those pesky Reapers are dealt with to make up for it

That said, if I have to be serious, I am always afraid that
if the LI (in this case Liara) found out about what Shepard did. They
would be disgusted, and would hate and despise Shepard forever.

And on the topic of embracing eternity. Is it me or is there a disturbing lack of ME1 romance scene screenshots?

That is certainly a good motivation for picking destroy, thought I feel like PMC would disapprove of the very last part.

And I am not sure why you edited the part away where you discussed control (you made a decent comment). Personally I doubt I will ever reach a consensus about it myself on how Liara will react to Shepard choosing control.

Also, how do you guys feel about this text?

“Charlie! Nyxeris, hold my calls.” Liara exclaimed, finally realizing his presence. She turned around, walking over to meet him. Charlie had once again gotten a smile on his face; he had brushed aside what he just saw; knowing that whatever happened must have had a good explanation behind it. Seeing her in person made his heart jump; she looked almost as he remembered her, she wore a simple green and white dress, and even though it was rather modest compared to what most other asari wore on Illium, it complimented her, especially at the back.

They were close now, their lips now met, and emotions began to stir in both of them. It was good, after all the **** he had to endure so far, it was good to be in her embrace again.

And then, it all ended abruptly.

She had ended the kiss, slowly pulling her head away. She raised her hand, her fingers touching his cheek, examining his scars, starring deeply into his eyes with her own. In the end, she pushed herself away, shaking her head. Charlie’s heart sank, unsure of what happened, of what she felt. Was it disgust? Shame? A pang of guilt?

She had now completely left his embrace, moving away to the window, staring out of it. When she turned around to talk to him, and he looked at her again, he finally noticed how similar she was, and yet how different she had become. Her eyes, once radiating with life and a sense of hope, now spoke of untold hardships. Her skin, once a rich blue, had now become a strained pale, showing her exhaustion. It was clear she had overworked, the lack of sleep being a clear sign under her eyes.

I tried to write about the very first meeting on Illium.

I really like the piece, but I also really, really hate the idea behind it. I just don't think Control!Shepard should ever reveal herself to anyone, least of all to Liara. Just let the poor asari believe Shepard died, let her grieve and then eventually move on. Torturing her like this, having her go through the rest of her long life knowing her love is not really gone, but with the catch that they can never really be together again ... to me that's just beyond cruel and utterly selfish on Shepard's part.

Ah, see, I agree with you about Shepard revealing herself being something of a thoughtless move on Shepard's part, but I didn't see this picture as a reveal!  I knew it was the control ending, but I saw it more like Shep's spirit being there and wanting to be able to offer comfort/some sort of reassurance, but not being able to break through the barriers between whatever plane she exists on now, and the reality we all experience.  Sort of a cosmic 'wish you were here' for lack of a better way to phrase it.
