[Han Shot First]

Favorite non-romance related Liara moment...

If the Time Capsule scene counts as a romantic one, and it should, I'd say probably Liara tossing those two mercs aside like ragdolls with her biotics to get at Tela Vasir. Runners up would be killing the Shadow Broker, coldly executing a couple Cerberus goons, and threatening to flay a guy with her mind.

In short I guess I dig it when Liara channels her inner bad@ss.

When she turned around to talk to him, and he looked at her again, he finally noticed how similar she was, and yet how different she had become. Her eyes, once radiating with life and a sense of hope, now spoke of untold hardships. Her skin, once a rich blue, had now become a strained pale, showing her exhaustion. It was clear she had overworked, the lack of sleep being a clear sign under her eyes.

I’m not sure about the “Charlie!” right at the start…other than it not being “Shepard”, the exclamation seems a little off? This is personal preference, but I’d probably go with italics. (Also doesn’t help that I’m now reading it like in Charlie the Unicorn, but that part’s not your fault…)

Emotions stirring in both is a little off in what seems to be a Shepard perspective, not omniscient.

‘Starring’->‘staring’.

Very last sentence doesn’t really work…lack of sleep might be evident, but not a sign.

Overall it’s quite good!

Nope, not intrested in the DLC at this point. (LOTSB and the comic  for ME2,)I'm not that fond of the gameplay, and I already forked out for the collectors edition. If they had a melee build like they do in MP (N7 Shadow,) then maybe.

Also the Leviathan DLC is 3 hours total.

No didnt see it yet, but looks good. The player inthe video is sooo bad, it just hurts my eyes!

I get this a lot but I honestly just can't draw very well. I always imagine things to draw and have some talent but not enough to motivate me to practice at it. It takes hours for me to make a good sketch that takes minutes for others. On top of that I don't know anything beyond sketching (like some use photoshop and stuff?.. I never got it) and even if I finish a sketch, whenever I scan it to put it online it looks like crap.. so that is why I don't make any.

and I actually don't have anything really against femshep. I get Liara is irresistable and that people with femsheps feel there's no better options. I feel like this is the reason Liara gets more fan pictures than other squadmates (so it seems) :]

No worries, I took it you didn't mean any harm with it, but it's just that that kind of comments may sometimes have bad consequenses, even if not intended to. So that's why I personally just prefer avoiding that kind of statements.

And I feel you with the drawing part. I mean, it sounds I'm pretty much like you when it comes to drawing. I do not completely suck at it, but it just takes me a tons of time to actually create something. And I'm also having trouble coming up with what to draw exactly, all I got is these "loose bits"  instead of full, proper scenes. So then I just end up having half-done stuff with which I've either ran out of motivation or ideas, or both. And I too have no idea how to do art with photoshop and such, I can do some image manipulation but that's all.

Best way is quick sketching of objects you don't want to do, or do a short course. YOu can get alot of stuff online, but rarely do people have the time and motivation to teach others when they have bills to pay. You learn more tricks and quick ways of doing things.

 Since I ended up in a debate over this the other day, I'm just gonna copy and paste this.

When you are selling a product, the majority does rule.

Think about it this way:

Femsheps options are limited.
It's easier for the 'straight' females to justify getting with Liara then it is Traynor.
Thane dies.
Jacob cheats on you.
Garus I love him to bits,but he is a Turian and is incompatible DNA wise.(It's a little bit too out there for most people.)
And Kaidan is now Bi,which unfortunatly now makes it so there's no viable 'straight' option for a female shepard. (For people who are uncomfortable with Kaidan being Bi.

So now you have the following situation.
You have Female gamers who prefer there own gender romancing Liara.
Guys who like 'hawt' lesbian action romancing Liara.
Guys who like female shepard better romancing liara.(Not in the majority, sadly.)
And Straight females; (Who because of Bioware, unknowingly or otherwise.) effectively have no viable choice but Liara.

That is the problem, they are knowingly/unknowingly forcing Liara to be 'cannon' for a Femshep. While that may or maynot be true alot of people don't have training or experience in the industry to know how things work; likewise people in the industry tend to forget, or don't have marketing/training in that feild to understand. Not to mention they are still human and have other things to worry about.

The  extreme group of People who prefer Femshep, can get really *****, which  in turn agrrivates the Mshep fans.
The Mshep fans start going on about how femshep is unrealistic,(Ect) Which fuels the fire. Ultimatly is an utterlly pointless debate, because things like this  happen. PErsonal preferance does not factor into the way things turned out, it's just a bunch of stupid descisions.

What I mean by language, is that  the Imbalance exists across all languages. I can't belive I actually researched this.(Probably because I got sick of the issue, and being stuck square in the middle sucks.)

I'm a guy, and the reason I play Femshep is due to me not being able to get immersed with Mark Meer's voice acting. Also Liara is just sweet.

I personally never understood that way of thinking—but, that said, it’s obviously a huge issue for some people, so whether we understand it or not, they genuinely apparently can’t accept it.

(Not even wanting to get into the misconception that you couldn’t have a perfectly normal relationship with a bi person…the assumption that they—I hesitate to say ‘we’, since I’m not bi-romantic as yet—will fool around just because they find both men and women attractive is pretty offensive.)

Actually, Kaidan seems to express an interest in women in ME1 regardless of Shepard's gender, he clearly thinks Liara looks good and then there is the dialog where he spills that he have visited a few extranet fetish sites with a focus on asari in pinstrip suites.

I think the only point that was trying to be made is that as of ME3, there is no straight human love interest for female Shepard (from a meta perspective). I have to admit, I was a little bummed at the lack of male LIs for femShep in ME3, but only a little. Since my straight Shepard who romanced Kaidan left him for Liara in game three, I really can't complain though, can I?


Please don't kill me, I don't know why I find this picture and all the goatees so hilarious, but it's got Kaidan and Liara so... *hides*

I disagree with that perspective. It’s…let’s say ‘incorrect’. Kaidan is male, female Shepard is female. That is, by definition, a straight relationship. If anyone thinks that the supposed ‘bi-ness’ somehow invalidates that relationship, they need some serious self-reflection is my opinion.
