^ I killed some of the characters to see their replacement.

And to be honest, I prefer Padok over Mordin. :D

Padok is by far the best replacement character of all time. I still couldn't bring myself to kill Mordin, the scientist Salarian . Hell, just thinking about his death makes me sad.

It was actually by accident I decovered Padok. I didn't use mordin at all during ME2, besides his missions. Consquence being he died on the suicide mission. And POW Padok!

Incase anyone replies to my posts. I'm off to the gym, back in 2 hours!:)
Don't know why i've said this but meh, sod it.

I never understood this impulse some players have to kill off members of their squad. I can understand doing something like a worst possible playthrough where (almost) everyone dies; or maybe roleplaying an incompetent Shepard that gets too many people killed along the way; but deliberately killing off only specific squadmates just because you don't like them... that just seems too disturbing to me, at least in a game where characters are as fleshed out as in ME.

Yeah, especially when you can't "just kill them" but you have to work towards the goal of getting them killed.
I will never understand the appeal of doing that. It really is quite disturbing.

There is a mod to the PC version of ME1 that had Ash with full dialoge having sex with FemShep..

It's a shame that the world we live in has people who take offence to same sex romance.
I liked that Bioware to that major step forward with Cortez, Kaidan and Traynor.
Akernis, I remember you showing me that's how it was done before, but whenever I tried it, the image never popped up, it just showed a box.

In that case you might be using the wrong link, I am not an expert of these sort of things, but try to take a picture from Deviantart then right-click on the picture (or I think that would be left-click, my mouse buttons are inverted since I am left-handed) and then click on the lowest option, it should then show you a box where the URL adress is displayed about in the middle. then copy that link in between the [*img][/img*] and it should work.

Example:

[*img]http://th06.deviantart.net/fs70/PRE/f/2012/075/4/6/liara_t__soni_20_by_johntesh-d4szxvr.jpg[/img*]

And then remove the * (or just don't put them there to start with)

I hardly find that disturbing, it's bad enough when you are watching a movie and you have to endure characters like Jar Jar Binks or the entire cast of the happening, so when ME2 gives me the option to kill off Jack and Thane in funny and anticlimatic ways I am obviously going to take it.

And not to dig up old posts but...

I’m not sure about the “Charlie!” right at the start…other than it not being “Shepard”, the exclamation seems a little off? This is personal preference, but I’d probably go with italics. (Also doesn’t help that I’m now reading it like in Charlie the Unicorn, but that part’s not your fault…)

Emotions stirring in both is a little off in what seems to be a Shepard perspective, not omniscient.

‘Starring’->‘staring’.

Very last sentence doesn’t really work…lack of sleep might be evident, but not a sign.

Overall it’s quite good!

Thanks for your  comments, I'll take it into consideration when I am going to write next time.

Actually, Kaidan seems to express an interest in women in ME1 regardless of Shepard's gender, he clearly thinks Liara looks good and then there is the dialog where he spills that he have visited a few extranet fetish sites with a focus on asari in pinstrip suites.

…I don’t recall that, sounds interesting!

Play Maleshep and talk about Liara after you recruited her on Therum, take the "Oh I do" option when he mentions that Liara is "Easy on the eyes", conversation should go like this.
MS: Just remember, leutiantant, I saw her first!
K   : Only by a few seconds sir!

And the comment about the fetish site is if you bring Kaidan along on Noveria and ask Lorik Qu'in about Benezia. when he talks about Benezia's outfit Kaidan will comment and say "Sounds like something you can find on those extranet fetish sites ..... What?".

Quite obvious Kaidan has a thing for our Liara, and asari in general. ;)

I don't think that he has a thing for Liara in particular, beyond thinkin that she is a nice person and a pretty girl. if you take the other option when talking about Liara, it goes like this.

Kaiden: "Dr. T'soni. Seems like a nice girl, easy on the eyes. If you like the bookish sort"
Shepard: "Any interest there Lieutenant?"
Kaiden: "No Sir, just art appreciation"

I think his behaviour in the other line is more along the line of friendly humour than actual interest.

Even another comment by him when you pick up Liara after Virmire when Ashley has already died there:

Liara: 'I hate to admit it, but I'm only a hundred and six.'
Kaidan: 'You sure look good for your age! Uh, I mean, you don't look that old!'

That's a rare scene to get since you can only see it after Virmire's finished and going to Therum to rescue Liara.

I think that's more about his ignorance of asari ageing/lifespan than about his possible attraction to Liara. I mean, even Ash comments about how good Liara looks for her age and Ash certainly doesn't swing that way (for women or aliens).

Though that line (by either Ash or Kaidan) is probably there not so much for character development but more for the player's benefit, to let those that don't read the codex know the asari can live for a thousand years.

He finds Liara attractive, which was what I meant. Might have used slightly wrong words but you get my point.

Maybe, but the way he says it and the "What?" just gives me the impression that he had done more than simply just surfing the extranet for stuff.

About the fetish sites? that might very well be true, in one of the fanfics I read he was depicted as a somewhat Chivaltous Pevert (http://tvtropes.org/...ivalrousPervert) it actually made a lot of sense.

Besides, people will have chosen in ME1 - Kaidan or Liara. The revelation that Kaidan also likes men two games later won't affect that.

More precisely, certain incarnations of Kaidan like men (also or solely). If you play a female character, there’s no indication at any point that he’s interested in anyone else, male or female. Actually, even if you play dudeshep, Kaidan’s still not involved with the opposite sex, so…

Where does Kaidan have that pinstripe suit dialogue? I don't believe I've heard that one, though I have gotten the line multiple times where he expresses a physical attraction to Liara.

Is that from Noveria? Just curious, as I've never brought him along on Noveria, and I do remeber that Lorik Qui'in had some dialogue about Benezia wearing a pinstripe business suit and 'tongues wagging' among the male businessmen.

You need to have Kaidan in your group, but you cannot have Liara or Ashley in your party as they have higher priority on commenting on Benezia's clothing.

Well Liara isn't a woman, she's asari. Kaidan being possibly attracted to her doesn't necessarily mean he finds human women attractive as well. Asari seem to have their own "tricks" to attract members of other species of either sex, so it's not at all impossible that they can even turn the heads of gay men.

Liara might not be a woman (a female human), but she is female.

If Kaidan is attacted to Liara I think it is safe to say that he finds women (as in female humans) attractive as well. They are fairly similar. The potential romance with Fem Shep I would think confirms that as well.

If I'm not mistaken I believe Kaidan also has dialogue with a romanced Fem Shep where he mentions going on a couple dates with a female doctor post-ME1. Someone who actually romanced him may need to weigh in on that however.

Disappointed that Bioware completed a partially nude model for her, or that it was obscured during the romance scene?

I don't really understand why Liara says that she is "technically" not a woman.
I would call any adult female a woman, regardless of whether there was a male counterpart or not.
Asari uses the femininum words daughter, sister and girl (rather than for example just child, sibling and adolescent) so why not woman?
