ME1 exploration was freedom!  All the stunts and glitchs I could experience... not to mention the backdrops of suns, moons, lensflare, meteor showers, planets....and side "stories".  Way better than that hammerhead crap. (although overlord was an ok attempt...minus that frackin hammerhead, cant drive off and explore those mountains which makes me a little melancholy - which is when i shut it off and wander skyrim for a few minutes.)

oww god! remebering all those exotic planet designs, and as doozer said, looking the designs of suns, moons, stars, planets... while on driving Mako in ME1 was an incredible experience... dammed they didn't keep going with that in ME2 and 3

It made me feel so accomplished when I did that. 

Although I hated it when the front of the Mako got stuck under something and then got launched backwards.

If by happy you mean me yelling at the screen bacause the mako fell down after using 5 minutes of trying to get out of a valley, then yes; I felt happy climbing those vertical mountains.

The Mako was one of the greatest features in Mass Effect. ME2 & ME3 weren't as good because of the lack of the Mako.

 As much as I loved the Mako (at times), this is pretty much my experience with it in a nutshell. I seemed to get every bug related to the damn thing.

No. This is the way the Liara thead must evolve.

This makes total sense, i actually loved(love) Samara (even though she wouldn't give me renegade the time of day without a death threat on top...just adds to her allure - love isn't love without looming death threats to make it exciting)  Wasn't throwing herself at you like the rest of your crew for a good lay... (even though her wardrobe might suggest differently to an interested human)
She's one of my favs next to Liara and Ashley.  But alas, she might be a little... old for my shepard... too much of an age and experience wall to climb over if they ever decided to humor such a relationship.  *Sighs* aw well, still really like her.

I was referring to the conclusion in ME3 though.

Yes the conclusion (which last i checked was part of the romance) of that attempted romance was well...i couldn't see it ending any other way either, it was extremely fitting. The depth in her words, the respect, her restraint, the care she has for Shep when she gives her bit of advice on the citadel - she's good, it's short, direct, and sweet.  And so much more mature and controlled  in the emotion department than my shepard is...correction: was. *sighs*

It actually almost kind of reminds me of a Guinan/Picard relationship - or at least I wouldn't mind treating it like that.  (ignore the sexual aspect that gets thrown into everything entirely)

Interesting. Well, my assumption may be wrong, but it could be that the nervous, somewhat timid, almost "cute submissive girl" behaviour tend to attract the Japanese players because it resembles how some (if not many) girls are in Japanese fiction, namely anime and manga??

Of course, this is just pure speculation, andm ay not hold any truth to it, but still; it´s an interesting thought.
Cause Liara did, to some extent, play that role in ME1.. A role which later was taken by Tali, when Liara became alot more independent, strong character.

Yeah those were my thoughts too, and considering that *Awful* 'kwaii kwaii desu' Liara in that official EA comic, makes sense.Blahh I hated that comic..

It's funny because Japanese woman can be very intimidating professionally. But they do have those body hug pillows of anime characters. Sadly Japan might go extinct..

I like Tali's growth too, and I thought she went better with the English broshep.In the French version,I want to shoot her, because of that voice urrgh.

Yes, ive read it - I think i have it Favorited. Fits a more intense and aggressive mood/aspect of the relationship that intrigues me.. rather like it so far, actually. Best part - I can read it and my teeth don't suddenly start hurting halfway through each chapter. (we're talking the fanfiction right?) 
Not dissing anyones fluffy fanfiction here, its all good and well written - i just have my limits

Ashley M. Williams!    Ash was the first person/place/thing that I connected with in Mass Effect.  As a person, you know?  I liked that she seemed to be mixed race (like me), was the oldest of four kids (like me), wasn't ashamed of her religion (like me), loved poetry (like me), and was a generally bad-ass space marine who knew what she wanted and was comfortable with herself (like... someone else, I'm sure).  Freakish similarities aside though, she felt like a real person to me, and it was the first time I'd encountered a video game character like that.  She's my canon bro!Shep's one and only.  I haven't romanced her with anyone else... it feels like cheating.  Because she's totally a real person.  (I guess I'm just not the sort of bat to get over her first, lol).

Yeah I get alot of toothaches too.. I thought there couldn't be something anymore cavity inducing then: the EC synthesis ending. But some of the fanfics out there,  hurt my little,black, and renegade heart :innocent:
