Shouldn't Liara get her physical characteristics from Benezia rather than her father, asari reproduction just takes desirable traits/qualities from the father parent not so much the physical resemblance of that parent unlike human offspring which would have a mix of the two physically. I don't know asari reproduction is pretty vague, even Aethyta and Liara disagree with one another on it. Liara has more of Benezia's physical characteristics like her blue eyes, facial markings and it's hard not to notice that she is well endowed just like her mom also:whistle:And Liara defo has some of her father's traits, afterall she is a quarter Krogan:P

Liara was right.

Aethyta was just voicing a commony held (but incorrect) view on Asari reproduction. Liara's argument was backed by the codex.

Mostly though, Aethyta was just trolling Liara. She was having a bit of a fun getting a rise out of her daughter.

One should observe that Shepard only start headbutting people after ME1, obviously some of Liara's quarter-Krogan psyche was transfered over to Shepard.

I don't know even here we like to open that codex to interpretation like the 3 stages of asari life for example. Asari for countless millennias before coming into contact with other species only reproduced with one another, and when they discovered that they could reproduce with any other species regardless of their gender they most have gained more benefits from these exotic unions. Asari as we know promote bonding outside their own people, they frown on asari/asari unions, feeling nothing is gained from those unions. Even though Liara is from a pureblood union her parents own traits from their parents seem to have been passed down to her. Liara I think really has some of her Dad's traits, she's pretty stubborn, tough, determined and can be alittle hot-headed at times just like her Dad. I guess it's the bloodrage, don't ****** her off Shep:P

Hi guys. Been a bit of a while since I posted. Anyone miss me? No? Oh well.

I've been overtaken by real life a bit lately and the fact that my computer keeps breaking down is a nightmare. But through it all I've been doing work on my fanfiction bit by bit and now I think I'm finally ready to give you guys Chapter 3 of my story.

Separation and Reunion - Chapter 3 - Remorse

I'm so sorry its taken so long but it happens. I'm going to try and be about more but could be tricky for the next two weeks because I'll be in Greece. However I've got a smartphone now so we'll see how it goes.

I hope you guys like it and provide feedback. I really especially appreciate reviews over there, make sit easier to keep track of the feedback. For the people in here who don't know me because I've not posted in so long: hey there! I've been doing these fanfic things for a while now and was active quite a lot in this thread a little while back, but I've been been on something of a hiatus. I don't read much FemShep/Liara myself, so check the signatures of some people here, there are a lot of good writers in this thread. The only FemShep/Liara fic I can highly recommend from my own experience is Rae D. Magdon's ___Can Wait series. (Some NSFW stuff here, so be warned.)

For Liara to say 'I love you' first, you'll have to stay loyal to her throughout the whole trilogy. For Shepard to say if first, I think it has to do with not playing LOTSB, but staying loyal anyway.

I'm pretty sure it goes...

Loyal, with LOTSB: "I love you, Shepard."

Loyal, without LOTSB: "I love you, miss T'Soni."

First time romance in ME3, but romanced someone else in ME1 and 2: "I never thought we'd be together like this, Shepard...but I'm glad we are."

Liara in ME3 as the first romance you've ever done: "You're special, Liara. I want you to know that."

I might be wrong though.

Lots of folk here on the Liara thread write fanfiction, you should check out theirs in their signatures^_^

Liara says it to your Shep is the way it should be that means your Shep was a good boy/girl and stayed faithful throughout the trilogy to the blue goddess, I salute you for that. I would never cheat on Liara myself and shame on those Shep's who do, they've got no character:whistle: To get Shep to say it first you have to romance someone else in ME2, it's not worth it though Liara saying it first with no doubt in her mind was perfect:wub: I'd rather just watch the variables on youtube myself.

  you’re right, just being curious, it just seemed sweet to me to have Shepard say it first on the video that I watched, but if it means being unfaithful I’ll pass , it might be silly but I cant make myself cheat on Liara

That's not silly at all. I could never do that myself and I think a lot of people here think the same way. I will always stay loyal to my Liara.

Cheating on Liara does feel pretty silly. The poor girl risked her neck to help bring Shepard back to life...and when he/she does come back to life...Shepard says "Hey...I know you did all that...but I'm gonna go behind your back anyway, k?"

Cheating on her is a pretty sh*tty thing to do more like, seeing Shep get spaced nearly destroyed her and the guilt she felt afterwards spurred her on to take on the SB forces to retrieve Shep's body. Liara really is in love with Shep even if you don't romance her, seeing the Citadel date scene as friends the dialogue between Shep and Liara is kinda sad:( Liara had her reasons in ME2 to keep Shep at arm's length, but she was still very much in love with Shep it was just a facade, the cabin scene pretty much explores that, don't think I've ever played a dlc as good as LOTSB:wub: Fingers crossed Leviathan will be a worthwhile and fun experience:)

I started a personal BSN journey to understand Liara, a character that I started hating with the ME3 release but that I want to look at with the eyes I've had back in ME2 and LotSB. (I really liked the character back then)

Can one of you Liara Fans kindly summarize for me, with as few words as possible, why Liara should be considered a valuable and outstanding character in ME3?
