This is what I'm talking about. Did you read what I said? I never said that Femshep-Liara didn't have good chemistry. I just think that MaleShep has BETTER chemistry. In my opinion anyway.

I personally play maleshep exclusively, as I am male and prefer to romance Liara with my own gender. That said I have nothing against femshep & Liara, as a matter of fact reading fanfics about them and hearing from the posters here about there femsheps relationship with Liara was what got my over the mild homophobia I had before stating on ME .

In most RPGs (practically explusively bioware games) where I can chose gender I find that one of them fits that particular game best for me, for examble in Kotor 1 my canon character is male and in the second female, in either Dragon Age game I play female and my Sith Inquisitor in ToR is also female while in ME I only play male Shepard, some gender choices just seems to flow better with me in specific games.

The chemestry between Liara and Shepard (or either gender) is fantastic and I have fanfics I truly love with both

Not to put you on the spot or anything, Akernis, but this is probably my favorite post that I've ever read on the entire internet.  Given how often people only seem to retrench their positions when they're discussing different viewpoints online, it's really awesome to hear that you had the opposite experience and actually opened yourself up!

I guess Liara really just is that magical!

KOTOR was the reason I got ME1 too. I had heard of ME before and I thought it's gonna be a sad scifi game like the movie "Sunshine", so no. I bought KOTOR when it first came out but my computer couldn't run it [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/unsure.png[/smilie] . 7 years later,  I tried to install KOTOR in my laptop and it worked and I was hooked. I like the character Bastila Shen, so I continued to play KOTOR2 with the restoration mod. And one day I watched video about Bastila on youtube, someone mentioned her voice was Commander Shepard's voice in ME, so I searched for a ME2 trailer and "WOW! :O" . I get ME1 right after that and forget all about KOTOR

This is pretty much how I feel. I have a M!Shepard I created specifically to romance Liara, and it was fine, but that character just didn't click with her the way my femShep who later ended up with everyone's favorite asari did. Maybe because I was trying to force the relationship between M!Shep and Liara? I don't know. I guess that's the great thing about RPGs... there's so much room for personalities and individual interpretation.

Thank you. Akernis . The "DAOCC changing avatar way" doesn't work with my account. I got the infamous message "Unable to access your online profile storage. The account information provided may be invalid." But I didn't stop trying. A couple of days ago, I tried to use DA2 and it worked

You should play it they just rereleased it and 2 in a combo pack on amazon if you want physical copies if not you can get them on Steam for probably 4-5 each
