Maybe Liara is too hard to model as a play-arts-kai figure, or maybe they are going to make Liara last?

Re other-statues: Overall they all look good, but for some reason male-shepard looks kind of  lame, in comparison to the others. Although Japan dosn't often go for that look with its male-heros.*shrugs*

Maybe they thought that Liara fans like oversexualized anime characters? It did sell pretty well so... yeah.
I wish they eventually make one for Liara like the rest of those, one that actually looks like her.

But Femshep has  also gotten the anime-statue treatment, and a Tali one is beign designed now so..*shrug* (Just wait until you get some weird statue, with the thre eof them in swimsuits, or some similar kwaii-desu garbage.)

If you actually see the statue, she doesn't look bad. I am serious. I just can't take a good picture of the face, ever, she's just not photogenic.

And no I don't approve of the anime-esque version either but I still like the figurine, good reference for drawing in case I don't want to look at pictures.

This is not a Play arts action figurine. It's a Kotobukiya's product. They do this to all the licensed characters they bought including Wonder Woman, Poison Ivy and the likes.

Yesterday I wrote some improvised dialogue in my "home" the Ash thread, but since Liara also is part of it, I think I should share it with you boys & girls too. Maybe you will get a chuckle out of it...



Ashley: So Blue, how are we holding up?
Liara: Just hold on a moment.
Jane: ..........
Ashley: Omni tool not responding?!?
Liara: No no, its working, but its not pointing us towards the Prothean artifact.
Ashley: Then were to?
Liara: It´s pointing back to the Normandy.
Jane: Liara honey, can´t we just start to move along.
Ashley: Yeah, lets just do this the old fashion way, you know. By looking!
Liara: I guess. Wait, this isn´t my omni tool.
Jane: Speed it up Liara.
Ashley: What´s the matter commander?
Jane: NOTHING!
Liara: Shepard, this is your omni tool. We must have switched it by accident last night.
Ashley: Yeah, like I really needed to hear that.
Liara: And it´s pointing towards Jacks old room in engineering... To a floor grate?!?
Ashley: Why´s it pointing to a floor grate on the normandy, its not that rodent again?
Jane: Yes, the hamster got loose again!
Liara: I got a picture here of... Herbal supplements?!?
Ashley: Smooth commander.
Jane: .....I miss my beanbag & bong.

Ahh point taken. Hmmn then maybe they're going to do Liara in another series of play-arts? Like maybe series 2 would have Liara,Vega,EDI, and Kaidan.

It's interesting to note that depending on your choices there are subtle changes in the dialogs during the scene on the Citadel and the love scene, for instance, if you don't select the "little blue children" comment option in ME2, Liara says "I know I'll think of something 5 minutes from now" instead of the blue children being disappointed she had nothing to say.

I don't know how this happened, but during the love scene start in ME3 where Liara says I love you, normally hers is first but in my last play through Shepard says it first and Liara responds with an "I love you too" comment.

Makes me wonder just how many of these subtle changes there are and what triggers them, maybe a hidden one in there somewhere.
