What I dislike about this Liara figurine is the term "bishôjo".

It stands for a certain type of fictional female characters in Japanese media that doesn't do justice to Liara, if you ask me. It's mostly used for underage school girls who serve as a potential love interest for the male main character (quite often in harem like constellations) and often provide fanservice despite their age. They are reduced to being naive, innocent, shy little princesses with little personality. (Okay, I noticed that haters may see Liara as absolutely "bishôjo" according to this description. :/ )

In ME1, Liara may share some of these character traits, but the approach to her portrayal, the genre and the constellation of other characters is completely different. And her character development in ME2 and ME3 can hardly be described as "bishôjo". It's a bit difficult to explain to someone who isn't familiar with the concept of "bishôjo" or Japanese anime.

Apart from the term, I don't like the style of the figurine. It's too Japanese and thus differs too much from the typical Mass Effect style.

Just adding my two cents.

It´s interesting how ME1 Liara might fit into that description. I remember a few pages back that someone (sorry, can´t remember who) said that most Japanese players he/she has met romanced Liara in ME1 and later on Tali.

Yep, I know hate threads are not exactly news worthy, but I just had to comment on how the user had stooped to a whole new low.

It is just so .... pathetic to watch him do this when he could do positive things like rallying people in support of ME2 character DLC instead.

First thing that struck me about the second pic (once again) was the question why so many people aren't able / interested in coloring Liara's eyes at least but just leave them 'blank'?

Well, for what (female) game characters there aren't? Garry's Mod and heavily modable games like Oblivion / Skyrim are today's 'doll's houses' for adulescent boys.
I don't necessarily blame them for it, but I'd agree in that I usually prefer if their ... creativity stays on that side of the internet.

Well, in his previous Liara hate thread, he kept claiming that he wasn´t hating against Liara, and that Liara fans were all bigots (??)...

Just need to figure out who's Seifer's LI and spam hate threads about that and when he gets angry just copy-paste his responses to Liara fans and see how he likes that. :innocent:

People like seifer are special. He's so butthurt that one of his favourite characters died (or wasn't included in ME3 enough) that all he does is b**** about other characters he get "forced" (whatever the hell that means) because he didn't get something his way.

Edit: He actually got me mad aswell... <_<
