I don't know. You don't shoot at any asari in ME3, I haven't seen their blood for a while.

I generally just lump that under the same category as Liara´s eyebrow markings: The devs wanted them to look more "human".

Regarding music...I can see that track being used as a theme for Liara. Maybe it just reminds me of the character because the track sounds both beautiful and exotic to me, which are two words I'd also use to describe Liara.

The above is a remix and *not* an original cut, despite was the uploader posted. The original reminds me of Liara as well though.

Good taste. ^^ It does fit her and I think the Tron Legacy OST in general would fit the ME universe somehow.

Oh I also read a fanfic recently about them having higher body heat than human, which is kinda awesome. Onibox's fanfic I think. Would get irritating during summer though.

Haha, I saw that just a few days ago, pretty awesome. They did show off Liara's dance moves pretty well. 

Wish we could've seen more of them in ME3.

Mind-boggling. I faintly remember asari's blood being dark blue or blue when Shepard shot them in the old ME. Plus, red is just too human.

During the beam-rush when Liara gets injured. Her armour is covered in a purple-ish blood. As well as all the Asari you kill in ME and ME2 have purple-ish blood.
