Exactly... the ultrasound's function in an ultrasound cleaner isn't to replace water (as in the theoretical sci-fi ultrasonic shower), but to replace the sponge/cloth/brush/etc. It achieves this by creating microscopic cavities in the solvent, those cavities then collapse with enough force to remove pollutants from the surface that is being cleaned.lillitheris wrote...
