Anyone playing the multiplayer weekend bonanza? Played a few games today, just to do my part for the community, hopefully the SP DLC will be released soon, MP is getting boring-_-

I'm gonna start now just got back home from work.  I'll gladly play with any of you as long as you don't mind sticking to bronze or silver for a few rounds i haven't had or felt like playing mp in a month or so and am probably rusty

Well I didn't see that many ground troops and didn't hear about them. I wanted to see them while I was fighting my way through the the beam.

But I like to think that there were alot more.

I'm still pretty pissed that we didn't get to see our ems troops in action when you hit London, where are my Rachni, my Krogans charging into battle, Jack's students shielding ground forces with their  biotic barriers, my asari huntress' and commandos, my elcor tank troops and so on?!!! Freakin' lame we didn't get to see all those fetch quests amount to anything<_<

Ok i understand. I imagine they were more since London is a big city. Also the quarians have 50,000 thousand ships and in the cutscenes you don't see that many. But hundreds of thousands seems a likely number. Any less and they will get slaughtered before reaching the beam.

We germans did pretty good too in the olympics. Got a lot of medals but had better olympics hehe. Yeah I played all day today Crimson but I'm not sure if we make the allied goal because after I saw the update we did pretty miserable, about 30 - 40 % on each difficulty. Plus I'm playing platinum all day long it doesn't count 

Yeah I should have paid more attention to what we had to do, I stuck to the London map for all my games when I could have been playing anywhere... derp, yep I'm an idiot, ah well I had a tough time of even completing those challenges as I got drafted into games with terrible squads, seriously I felt like the squads personal paramedic in most of them:?

Oh I also read a fanfic recently about them having higher body heat than human, which is kinda awesome. Onibox's fanfic I think. Would get irritating during summer though.

This is pretty cute Yuqi, aww love the lil space hamster^_^ Yunno I've come across alot of fanfics that have dealt with a pregnant Liara, some have asari pregnancy being about the same gestation period as humans, some even as long as two years but that's a bit far-fetched I think. If I was to hazzard a guess I'd say maybe 10 months, 11 tops but not more than a year anyway.  Jeez imagine if you were pregnant for more than a year:blink: I even read a piece that had asari being fortunate to not suffer the early side effects that come with pregnacy such as morning sickness, lucky them:lol:

They didn't really have much of a plan or, leastwise, the famous battles and celebrated warlords she had studied always seemed to have very elaborate and detailed ones. There were four waves of around five thousand troops each, the first two of which were meant to strictly cause and soak destruction. They were forbidden to enter the lift. The first two waves went in two minutes apart, from different directions.

Everything hinged on the Reapers thinking that they and the endless rows of bodies and pods they guarded were under attack, not the lift.

Everything, Liara thought quietly, hinged on the Reapers thinking they could handle the attack.

The third wave, Shepard's wave, was the primary entry attempt. Out of all of them, 200 people were authorized to enter the lift. Everyone else protected them, made way. The third wave entered five minutes after the second. A fourth wave was identical to the third, another five minutes after.

They suspected the lift would close almost immediately after someone used it. They were hoping for 20-30 of the elite to make it in before that. Only after and if the lift closed was retreating allowed.

Forces elsewhere were co-ordinating desperate strikes at valuable targets in an effort to distract from the main target. All told, there were about a quarter million troops on the ground in the London area, and similar numbers at least in Madrid, Paris, and Bucharest, all of which hosted significant Reaper logistics concentrations.
