NO....this...will....never...ever....happen....:crying::crying: Liara looks so sad and her look back :crying: NEVER! ^^

Btw, I just came from the movies and watched Prometheus. Anybody else saw it?

Yeah.

Beautiful shot. Half the characters are illogical. Script has plotholes. Noomi & Fassbender are great. Raises more questions then answers...

Rating: 3 ultimate badass Hudsons out of 5!

The only problem I've got with this pic is, that the only acceptable type of these iconic aviator sunglasses are the original Ray Bans with green G-15 lens. Nothing else will do.

Certainly. If Liara is to wear aviators (sigh), then she will not compromise with cheap knock-offs. Gold frame, green lens.

Dat blue and gold.

TBH I, personally, prefer the silver/gunmetal frame (with green lens ofc), even though the gold frame & green lens combo is THE original pair of aviator sunglasses ;). And I also think silver would go pretty nicely with blue.

Only thing good about that scene is Liara walking away.

That should be a .gif.

I suspect it isn't because no one ever picks that dialogue option. Posted Image

I liked Liara in ME1 and the lotsb. But in ME3 she became the kristen stewart of the mass effect ...lol

If we were to make comparisons to Kristen Stewart I'd say Tali would come closest, since she potentially ends up getting calibrated by Garrus.

Quarians also by the way, sh_t themselves on a regular basis. In one of the books it was mentioned that when away from the Migrant Fleet Quarians go to the bathroom in their suits and it gets recycled.

In conclusion, Liaramance > Talimance if for no other reason than Shepard's girlfriend wouldn't be needing an adult diaper.

Oh my is that lil Talimaner lost, but to be fair Han I'm sure she gives great helmet:lol: Personally I couldn't handle all the chaffing myself or the diaper changes as you have mentioned Han, Tali is a girl, Liara's a woman why would you settle for anything less? Also Kristen Stewart come on if you're gonna troll pick someone more hate worthy than that... pretty weak comparison guy/girl:P

@H4nniba11 yep she does the teasing if you kiss her or not, she loves to torture poor Shep:lol:

Eh I was really tempted to spam his latest cry for attention with Liara pics but really that guy is just sad, no need to engage with the bitter brigade.:police: Also for someone who hates Liara soooo much the guy can't stop talking about her, I guess he really does love her:lol:

^ (last pic) I really dislike seeing Liara paired up with Javik, even beyond the fact that I am only interested in seeing Liara with Shepard it is quite clear Javik thinks nothing positive of Liara and while she is profesionally fascinated by him by virtue of him being a Prothean she is nowhere near personally fond of him. Javik is the only person Liara is ever  shown being angry with except for the Shadow Broker.

@Akernis I wouldn't view that pic as a romantic one myself, more like friends hanging out but I do agree with you on weird ship's in fanfiction. The one I hate the most is Miranda/Jack makes no freakin' sense.<_< Liara only loves Shepard and Javik would never bond with another species as he would consider it beneath him anyway. This is a strange ship but I recently came across an Aria/Tali one so I don't know why people would want to weave these characters together in the first place. Reaching doesn't always work:whistle:

I don't understand your sentence. Unless you mean that I cannot offend Femsheps butt, which is true since she has quite backside at least in ME 3(note to self: dont stare your Shepards ass too much).
About Shepard rejecting Liara: What part of the ''at any rate, lets not dwell on it tonight'' you didin't understand Commander?
Btw thanks really much for your answers, will start new run on trilogy as soon as I finish recreating my maleshep and create my femshep, name still undecided with (I'm thinking about playing the simultaneously so I get to
see what differences there are for different gender sheps (also get to experience my favorite parts TWICE:wizard:)).

Agreed she does have a nice butt. I suggest if you really want to experience the best of mshep/liara go and play it in italian..:wub::wub:

You girls should really just stick to dancing, you know play to your strengths
. Ha the glare Liara gives to Shep for saying that.

Well, Liara could do worse then renegade. I mean it's not like Renegade Shep  spends a week locked up in a basement, sets the district on fire, finds an alien corpse in a tank, then has an epiphany and says "omg at last i have found you mummy!"

That's a pretty vivid imagination you got there Yuqi, your mind is a scary place sometimes:P Also Frudi that artist has some nice pieces hell I even saw a banshee in that artist's gallery but I'll resist posting it here, I'm still annoyed with the last few that pwned me in multiplayer<_<

*snip*

Imagination has nothing to do with it! it's all about the calamity that fell from the sky! But wait! if Atheme is the calamity, that means renegade-shepard is the scientific lovechild  of atheme and mordin!  Ahh so Liara shall ultimatly be praying to atheme in some water and Shepard shall plunge his/her omniblade from the sky and go stabby, stabby, stab, stab!

(You seriously don't get the references, here?)

I'm guessing this is probably some kind of reference to the Bringing Down The Sky DLC for ME1 which I've never played otherwise I got nothing:blink::whistle:

@Frudi All Hail The Illusive Hypnotoad:lol:

SIgh,  its not  a reference to Bring down the sky, it's a reference to the neiblhiem inciident. I think you need a history 101 in videogames, crimson :P

Eh Tali dosn't have the replayability that Liara has. (Liara goes both ways, afterall.) What is blaringly obvious with the Tali romance is that the  ENG mshep actor favors Tali. Eh oh well, he cant compete with Italianmshep anyway.IMO

I didn't get that vibe at all, and I exclusively play Male Shep. Or least I've never had a complete Fem Shep playthough of the entire series.

I think Meer is fairly consistent regardless of which voice actress he is paired with.

He warms up to Liara after Thessia.  Why else would he agree to write a book with her?  He did call her Dr. T'Soni when you talk to him when in London.

Javik thinks nothing positive about anyone for most of the game.  He warms up towards the end though.

Agreed, though I think it was more a case of Javik trying to remain emotionally distant from the crew than actively disliking any of them.

Having him interact with the echo shard brings forth a big reveal about Javik's old crew, that partially explains why he is cold and distant with Shepard and the crew of the Normandy.

Play both and  all romances and the favortisim becomes blaringly, and annoyingly obvious IMO. (I played sexy-voice Italian mshep first, so I'm biased TBH.) The english V.A did his best in In 3 IMO. I hate the over-done 'we fight or we die' by the female actorr, but the english actor nailed it IMO

I think the eng female actor does a better job overall, but not to the over-dramatic extent some fshep fans seem to claim.  But TBH I've never  understood the divide in the ENG community over the V.A..

But anyway before this goes way off-topic ..

LOTSB Liara, or ME3 Liara? and why.

I agree with that too.  He seems to have the same view as Tali's father.  Keep everyone at a distance.

His bluntness cracks me up.  He held no punches back and was honest with everyone.  Even if it did make him sound very cold and uncaring.

I can't comment on Italian voice actors, but I don't really thinkt here was a difference in how Meer acted certain scenes with Liz Sroka compared to Ali Hillis. The dialogue is certainly different, but I didn't notice a difference in delivery. Is there any scene in particular you are referring to?

I don't think they're radically different, but I'd go with ME3. I'd pick ME3 only because I think Liara is more emotionally balanced in that game. In LotSB prior to the date she's got a single-minded focus on vengeance, which tends to manifest as her being more ruthless there than she is in other chapters. That single-minded focus on vengeance was a little unhealthy for her, which is also why Shepard had to use 'interrupts' to get her attention. Posted Image

Her portrayal in ME3 is sort of a balance between the more ruthless side of her that we see in ME2 and LotSB and the more shy and good natured side we see in ME1.

ME1 is my least favorite chapter for Liara.

Well for the English Version(Which admittly I have played far less then the others.) Meer was it? The evac scene with Tali he displays more emotion then he does with Liara eva IMO. The female actor sound slike she is  on the verge of tears, in the liara evac scene. However it is also possible that the devs told the actors too out more effort into respective scenes.( All that forced flirting with Jacob? The Devs told hale too, which was confirmed at SN.)

I would say I prefer that single minded focus over ME3,( but my first encounter with her was ME2.) I prefered her determination and drive in ME2/LOTSB  and some of the good-natured side had me scratching my head in ME3. When she says "I cant be that callous' before Thessia I was a little annoyed.

I don’t think there’s a dichotomy. It’s just different stages of being. In ME2/LotSB she’s understandably in a bad place, and frankly a little over her head (anyone’s head, I hasten to say). She’s constructed a shell to cope with the situation, and toward the end and throughout ME3 she can gradually let go of it as much as is possible in wartime.
