Ugh, I hated the car chase in LotSB, its only saving grace were Liara's comments and screams. It didn't help that I remapped my controls so the game insisted on telling me to press the wrong key for turbo; I don't even want to think about how many times Vasir got away from me because of thatArcataye wrote...
What worries me is that this will be more about the action:
"If you look back to the LotSB for ME2 we had an amazing car chase. Leviathan has a lot of the similar sort of pieces." -Gamble
I generally don't like these sorts of scripted chases, I just don't see the point in them. At best they might be somewhat interesting the first time and at worst they're just frustrating; and they're definitely repetitive and boring on subsequent playthroughs. Chasing down Eva on Mars in ME3 is another typical offender, I hated that one even more.
Well at least Liara's aim improved alot in ME3 when she took out those Cerberus goons in her singularity field, she was a terrible shot when chasing down Vasir in LOTSB:lol: As annoying as chasing down the fembot is it's nowhere near as bad as those f*cking dream sequences<_< I loved the banter between Shep and Liara in LOTSB, always fun to replay:D
by lemmyleyra @ tumblr@Mavqt All you guys have such pretty custom avatar's and your new one Mavqt is freakin' sweet, Hollow's frightens me:lol: I tried to change it using the dragon age creator but I'm impatient and too dumb to figure it out soooo this will do for now... unless I get tech savvy overnight and figure it out but don't hold your breath:P

Liara's face in the later panels.... It was beginning to scare the crap out of me. It's also weird that it portrays Liara as offended, even though in-game, her retort is also sexually fueled.

I will be getting around to your newest chapter later today
Heh, thanks, Akernis.
My newest chapter is actually only 25% mine.
I think it's a really tastefully done FShep/Liara love scene written in large part by my friend T.A. Blackwell (I'm gonna go so far as to say I think she's one of the best f/f writers out there). My heart's still melting from how sexy and sweet it is. God damn, that woman has talent
Welcome back Nox, I was just about to launch a search party for you no need now... you're alive:D And you've updated your story excellent, looking forward to reading it. I've read a femshep/Liara piece by T.A. Blackwell before, she's very good^_^
Heh, thanks, Crimson. I'm sure you'll like T.A.'s contribution. That woman is so incredibly talented. And yeah - sorry about going MIA; was relocating away from the UK, so have been rather tied up with other semi-important things

Nothing beats little sibling rivalry:devil:. I also didin't think that he would be good enough for her, he didin't pay attention to the univer nor the characters and his only motivation of romancing someone was to see the sex scene. Well, truth to be told that was the reason why I initially became interested of Liara (she looks way better than Ashley). However as I talked with her more and more I noticed how interesting character she was and ME 2 was really an eye opener. I hadn't noticed how much I cared for he until she was not around:crying:.Batlass8 wrote...
Oh man, that is both evil and brilliant! (I would argue it serves your brother right though, because Tali is clearly too young for Shepard in ME1!)

Regarding the lack of helmets, I would like to say that my headcanon is that Shields and Biotic Barriers actually act like vacuum suits when necessary during Mass Effect 2 and 3, making Liara and other characters able to simply use breath mask to breathe without worrying about pressure concers.
You always, always wear a helmet. That’s the first thing Eevy taught Liara.

Nowaday helmets will not stop bullets, however they mite stop shrapnel.
Shepard also says that the casing on her/his helmet cracked from a graze of a bullet.
In my opinion, barriers and sheilds do a better job then any armor. (In the bullet stopping department.)
But for air pressure situations, armor all the way.

Which is why everyone wears armor?
They can just make the helmets out of the same material as the shipping crates…

LotSB is my favorite look for Liara as well. I love her new texture in ME3, but LotSB is the only time during the series that we actually see Liara let her hair down...so to speak.
It is the only time in the series where Liara isn't wearing a a labcoat or battle armor, or some other outfit associated with work. And of course she looks stunning.
I personally think she looks best in ME 3. I don't know if this has been discussed yet but any ideas about why her lips appear dark blue in LotSB? Every other time they are purple. Could it be that she has been wearing lipstick all this time and her lips actually are darker blue? Kinda weird for her to wear lipstick in dig site alone though.
I think it was just different choices in art design, and nothing that was given much thought beyond how it looked. But dipping into head canon...I think purple is the natural color of her lips. I base that on the fact that Samara also has purple lips. It would be OOC in my opinion for Samara to be wearing lip stick, considering she also bequeaths all her worldy possessions when becoming a Justicar, and so I think purple is her natural lip color.

Yeah thats what I think too. Headcanoned the sudden colour change to be side effect of mental stimulant she used after Vasir tried to shoot her (It had been long day and she was unsure when she would get the chance to rest).

But not to be completely off-topic:

The german localization of Mass Effect is terrible, because every voice actor sounds stiff and lifeless. On top of that they address each other formally. Yes, even if you romance someone, they are still extremely polite. Durr.
If you are not familiar with the German language: There are two ways of addressing someone. One is called "Duzen" and is used in an informal way, like you say "Du" to friends or your family. The second one is called "Siezen" and is the formal address. AND THEY USE THIS ONE IN MASS EFFECT NEARLY ALL THE TIME.
Also for me Liara just wouldn't be Liara without Ali Hillis.
