I could see her into some smooth Jazz, classical, and some forms of worldly new age stuff.

I was thinking that Liara might enjoy listening to mellow trance music or soft electronica. I imagine her liking something soothing like that, and I don't put it past her to really enjoy the unearthly feel of it too, since it's not going to be something she's familiar with and would sound exotic to her.

Moreover, if it's vocal trance she would be able to listen to a completely alien language to her, untranslated, and she would possibly be intrigued by it, and appreciate it as part of the music.

classical and easy listening, maybe she may like some Opera music too... perhaps Shep may take her to some nights at the Opera if she wanted to get a glimpse of highbrow earth tastes;)

Ambient for work, industrial for fun.

And, recently, The Cure (introduction courtesy of Sam Traynor).

Yep scripting could've been the problem but now that u mention the possible ways to look at shepards origins it wouldve been impressive if they did tie into the story somehow. For example if Shepard was a spacer, instead of priority earth, we'd get priority sword (as opposed to hammer or shield). Actually the main story could've still involved earth because it seemed to be the front for the reaper war, but shepards direct involvement could be influenced by his origin ...or...our choices. And we could still meet the catalyst because we'd just hop off the Normandy because it can swoop down at the beam and drop us off...

Yeah of course it would have been impressive if BW had developped the story on the 3 forms, as you well said, but as I stated, I suppose due for scripting and resources could've the reason they didn't do it. As you said too, that having the 3 stories didn't mean't we couldn't still meet catalyst and doing all Priority missions, I guess the only thing whould have changed is Sheps reactions and the way to handle the war..

I guess maybe someone could ask this to Hudson and staff in the Gamescom or conventions like this one:lol::lol:

You’re just switching one forced mold for another. I’d hate it just as much if I couldn’t care about Earth just because I wasn’t born there.

It’s just a shame because the game plot would have worked with very minor changes.

Damn it.

Smooth electronical music with not that much of bass overload and modern Jazz would interest her. Maybe every now and then a good Opera.

This is also very nice.

I seriously think Liara would love smooth, mellow, and chill vocal/psytrance. It's not hard or rough like dubstep, and I think it has that exotic electric flair that would suit her.

RE: Shepard and Earth

I can see what your saying, but I really don't think we need to have 'save earth' constantly in our face. Urrgh and I know a lot don't play Renegade here, but I thought I would mention that even Renegade Shepard cares too much about earth. I think what would've helped would've been the choice of a neutral option.

-----

Re: Romance Dialouge changes.

Yeah I noticed that too, it was nice but coulve used more for me- 1 imports. Accomadting the 'new players' was a silly Idea. I started with ME2 loved it, and went back, and bought number one.So if a new player did buy ME3 and they liked it: they would naturally go, and buy ME2, and ME1.

Re: Off-Topic
This thread gets away with it a lot. I think it might be because we mostly behave, or something. There is only so much, that we can disscuss after 1918 pages.

About Liara and the human music, she could enjoy listening to something like Django Reinhardt perhaps.

Examples of trance music that I think Liara would really enjoy listening to are this, this and this. They have that relaxing, almost hypnotic tone of them that would probably appeal to her.

I wonder a hypernova is the biggest explosion in the universe and it can be seen in the entire universe. When the crucible explodes you see spots of light in the galaxy, so the blast of the crucible will be seen all over the universe and it will be the biggest blast in the universe before the big bang. How is that even possible?

The crucible releases some space magic energy through the relay network mystically damaging the relays and destroying the reapers/converting everybody into green dudes/giving Shepard control of the reapers, so the "spots of light" are mass relays. The whole thing is just absurd, so I wonder why you're even trying to make any sense out of it :D.

Secondly, you do realise that milky way =/= the entire universe? And hypernova is basicly just a massive supernova, it's a huge explosion, yes, but still, even though I'm no physicist I'm pretty sure it can't be just seen in the entire universe. Sure the photons (=light), other particles and radiation that are being emit in the explosion travel through the universe and can be detected once they reach the location where you're waiting for them with your detectors. But since the universe is quite big a place, there are most likely galaxies the light (or any other particles/radiation) coming from that hypernova, will "never" reach. And also the particles and radiaton will scatter while they travel through space. So when you think about something as big as the universe it might be that the particles and the radiation will only "hit" a tiny portion of the whole universe.

Or perhaps you meant that hypernovas can be detected in all over the galaxy the hypernova takes place in, because that could be true?

And now someone who actually knows something about physics will come and tell everything I just wrote is complete rubbish :D. Oh well, anyways, more Liara.

Sorry for the late response. No, i mean that you see spots of explosions in the Milky Way. And if you don't know the Milky Way is IIRC 150,000 light years across. A hypernova is a star on steroids. In a flash iit releases the entire energy of our sun in is lifespan. And stars that are big leave a black hole that begin to devour the star and emits jets of gama ray burst that can be seen in the entire universe. Supernovas, hypernovas and gama ray burst can be seen in the entire universe.

Not to jump into your headcanon, but if he’s overrun, the bomb’s lost.

Actually the bomb goes off just as planned. Posted Image

But even not knowing how that decision plays out (like that first playthrough), there isn't any guarantee that the Geth would be able to disarm the bomb if Kaidan wasn't rescued. While it might be a staple of action movies that the bombs always get disarmed with seconds to spare, the real thing would be much more complicated. There are plenty of examples in warfare of armies successfully blowing bridges when their positions became untenable, even when massively outnumbered and outgunned.

The greater risk IMO, is that Kaidan would be forced to trigger the bomb before Shepard, Ashley, the Salarians, and the other two squadmates could be evacuated.

That bit was a gamble, but totally in keeping with how I saw Shepard. I viewed him as a commander who was prone to taking risks, rather than one with a leadership style that was more cautious. He was more Julius Caesar than Bernard Montgomery.

Hmm, it definitely looks like it can be worthy of a purchase(just for more Liara stuff of course), but Liara's face in the second cover looks off to me.

Edit: Crap top post....uhh Liara save me!

They've never been able to get Liara's face right in the comics for some reason.

Not a big issue for me however, as I'm more concerned with the story than the artwork.
