On a random and totally unrelated note, why hasn't this track found its way into a Shepard & Liara tribute video yet?

Shepard didn't shoot the gun out of Koylat's hand, Shepard shot the lamp next to him then punched him in the face. I always let the VS shot Undina, unless Liara kills Ash then I shoot Udina.CrimsonN7 wrote...
I'm still kinda peeved at what they did to Udina in ME3, yeah he was a douche but he's an enjoyable douche, they should have explained and handled why he betrayed humanity better then what they gave us. Yunno maybe inserting a paragon interrupt option to shoot the gun out of his hand like you do to Koylat in ME2, killing him in both outcomes wasn't really necessary. Interrogating him after the coup I would have liked an outcome like that.![]()
In all my playthroughs except one I shot him but having an alternative option like the paragon one I suggested would have been more interesting, well for me anyway.
I don't think they needed to explain that in any details. Just talk to him, he flat out says the Council is still treating humanity like a 2nd rate species even though they have a seat on the Council and Shepard has saved them once already. He is frustrated because he feels they don't care about humanity and that humanity is on their own. To me, that is the reason he joined with Cerberus. Plus we don't know what TIM offered him, but TIM wasn't too broke up with Udina getting killed.
There is an option to disarm him with your gun... maybe I shouldn't have said paragon interrupt
I still would have liked to have another outcome to the coup situation, yeah I get the above but knowing more about how deep his ties ran with Cerberus, how long was he in cahoots with them and anymore Illusive Man content would have been most welcome, I loved the interrogation scene with Thane in ME2, would have been fun making Udina squirm likewise after the coup:lol: I could be wrong in what I'm saying about us knowing or not knowing how long he was co-operating with Cerberus, where we ever told how long he was working with them? It's been a long while since I played ME3 so if I'm getting things mixed up fair enough.

Mostly it's the Council. I'm curious on what people think happened to them.
Did they escape the Citadel when the Reapers showed up? Or did they get turned in to a reaper creature? I think after the coup attmept, the Destiny Ascension left to join Hackett. Humanity needs to replace Undina anyway. But what about the other species?
Patrick Weekes mentioned that there are survivors (especially the key NPC figures) on the Citadel. I think the councilors are key NPC figures (in my head canon, Aria rescues Tevos and they escape

My firm belief is that despite it seeming good to have a generic Shepard (in a fanfic, typically) so that people can relate, it actually causes more problems than it solves. The character will remain a little bland, but at some point you will make some decision that isn’t generic enough to fit in everyone’s…relation?
That’s why it’s best to write or otherwise portray an unabashedly personal Shepard.
…
I think Liara noticed we went offtopic.

And here is something more risque by rendereffect dan.
(H/T to HTL once again.)
Edit: hm, I hope that last one didn’t break the thread.

I have not yet taken care of the post-ending as the story concerns my alternative ending. Half of the second chapter consists of Councilor Tavos recounting, in her mind, my version of the events since the Reapers take control of the Citadel up until Shepard (and in my story Liara, Garrus EDI and Javik) arrives at the Citadel from the transport beam on Earth.ladyvader wrote...
How far back into the game did you go to sort it out? I'm curious. My story picks up with the Normandy flying off whatever planet they are on and headed back to Earth.Akernis wrote...
As have I, it bothered me enough that that we did not get to see it that I devoted about half of chapter 2 of my story to try sorting that out.
Sounds good.

I don't expect major political changes for my universe (high EMS destroy, genophage not cured) -> the council remains more or less the same (with a new human councilor of course).

Okay heres a topic.
Your favorite Shepard (who is with Liara of course. ) But not your own Shepard, it has to be someone elses.
*snip*
I suppose Theo's, but I also haven't read enough fanfic. His is literally the only version of Shepard I can recall reading about at the moment.
It is odd in a way that I haven't read much fanfic, as I love to read in general and have a ton of books. I guess what makes me hesitant is that any fanfic is basically an alternate universe, since our own characters are our personal canon. Part of the reason I liked Theo's fics was that it could just have easily have been my Shepard as well. (though certainly not the only reason)
Maybe if I got past that initial hesitancy and read some other fanfics where the characters are radically different than my own, I might enjoy them.
Although not really what you are asking, I do like this custom Shep:
Shepard & Liara
My canon Shep is the default Sheploo, and I'm not a big fan of a large number of the custom Sheps...both male and female. A lot of times the voice doesn't match the face, or the custom Shep either looks like a dork who isn't believable as a commando, or is just flat out ugly. I think whoever this person is did a great job creating a custom Male Shep though. On the off chance that he posts or lurks here, well done.
I agree with you about the custom Sheps. I can name maybe 10 or 14 custom M-Sheps that I like., (Four of which are from this thread.) With Femsheps, I can name maybe eight or five. I really dislike the silly modded femsheps who look more like barbies, then commanders. ME3 default is my fav cause she looks like the chic from Perfect-dark-Zero, but the animators/modelers could have put a little more effort in.
Oh and another favorite M-Shep is the one from Greggys fics, I forgot about that one. I read more Italian/chinese fics.

I see, although I do feel one can have her be paragon without being Mary-Sue.
And I get that dialog too. I love the shuttle ride to Sur'kesh when the cure has been destroyed in ME2, love the tension.
