Where is a good place to run LoTSB? normally I do it when everything else is done but want to try something else.

On a side note, if you bring Kaidan along to Noveria Liara makes the "acid tanks" comment as well as being the one to shoot Saren IF Kaidan is along.

If you want to know when I normally do it, is a few missions after I can travel to Illium. Before the suicide mission most of the time.
Although it could be practical to do it as soon as you aquire it so you have acces to the mining company's etc.

From a story telling stand point, I prefer to do it after the suicide mission.

But for best ingame rewards and research, do it before.

I found the bug very interesting so I couldn't kill it. I had high expectations of the Rachni in ME3 and... yeah.

I usually start it after the Suicide Mission, but save the cabin scene for after Arrival, which is usually the very last mission I do in ME2.

I really like it that way, because it feels like Shepard is saying goodbye before he/she turns themself in.

Yup leave it to Kaidan to out paragon Liara:bandit::lol:

In regards to LOTSB most of the time I always leave it after the Suicide Mission, something to look forward to although in one playthrough I got impatient as it's such an awesome dlc and I played it in the middle. It's interesting to play it before or after the suicide mission to hear the variables in the dialogue with Liara aboard the Normandy^_^ I still prefer hearing her say When the Reapers arrive you'll dive into the fray over When you and your team are ready you'll leap through the Omega 4 Relay. I always pick the renegade response when she asks how I am, my Shep needs to vent and Liara always knows how to calm her down... and set her heart to race:whistle::D

^^This I agree with, I would love to have heard what the asari sound like without the translator.:)

Speaking of funny confessions...

I think the Asari will sound very much like a Central European language, maybe something between French and Dutch.

...Quarian will definitely sound Russian/East Europe-ish, while I can picture Turian language resembling German. I don't know about the Krogans, but my little headcanon is that Salarian actually sound Italian without the translator on.

Awesome. Posted Image

I like that the artist used Liara's Illium apartment as a backdrop. That place was sweet.

I imagine there are probably different languages on Thessia just like there are an Earth. I kind of picture the Armali dialect as being sort of similar to one of the romance languages like Italian or Spanish.

So, Liara was Marie Antoinette...

Were there any cake in that dream?!?
Or maybe it was a really weird Simpsons thought association?

*snip
Apparently you want to discuss about my dream instead of telling your own ones. Very well, this is  entertaining either way. It was big party, there were cakes. And I don't understand Simpsons thought association part. Some episode with cakes?

Yeah, I fear that Leviathan will just be Biowares attempt to make ending more bearable and make synthesis more appealing. About ME 4: I have no problem with synthesis if it happens naturally and is not forced on anybody.
This is bit off topic, but I have chosen to ignore almost everything what happens after Normany picks up Liara and Garrus. In my ending just before the red laser of destruction hits Shepard, Normandy swoops in, fires at Harbinger making him miss Shep. Some soldiers make it to beam, Harby decides to chase Normandy since defending failed but drops some reaper troops to prevent the entry of extra forces and so on...

Oh did anyone else use that second truck as a ramp to slam skycar on top of Vasir (not really the cutscene begins before it happens, but it really looks like you're going to slam her from above)?

False. Asari and other races have several languages instead of one. Individual of each species might speak something similar to Chinese, Italian or English depending where he/she grew up.

I think Shepard is a little too tall in the above picture though.

I mean, is it just me, or does Liara actually seem taller than Shepard at times in-game?

I knew I forgot something!
Yes, it bothers me that some maleshepxLiara drawings make Liara substantially shorter than Shep. In game Liara is only slightly shorter that Maleshep and slightly taller than Femshep

Also my new Shepards what you guys think:

As I alluded to on the previous page, from a story perspective I play it as soon as it becomes available. I need an answer, one way or another… (Happily, turns out to be one way.)

Incidentally, regarding (asari) languages and translators, I finally included a tiny scene about that in Chapter 32. One of the first little things I wanted to have, actually, but it took a while to get to it… I did way too much working out the languages; got a basic grammar for three, misc. words for a few more. Dunno if I’ll ever use them…:pinched:^_^

Also, I posted the related (Unity) codex entry about it a couple pages back, or you can find it here.

I did too.

Made me feel slightly d***ish, but I decided to listen to Wrex in the end. Couldn't trust that big bug. :?

I'm glad that I listened to Liara. It turns out that the Rachni was warlike because the Prothean turned them into a weapon. But that queen is different, she wants peace. Plus her ability is pretty interesting.
If you don't trust the queen, how can you trust the Krogan too

Also does anyone have a close screenshot of Liara's fingernails? I think that they are completely white without human like coulor change.

OK you guy's I'm stuck on my fic so i guess I'll poll the group the fic i just went back to working on First Impressions deal's with Liara and Shep's initial meetings and how they got to initially know each other.  I put it on hold while i was doing Recovery and i just put up a really small filler chapter.
I want to know whether you guys think I should cover the debriefing after Therum or just leave it out since it was already covered at least in part during the game?  the last ch. i posted up ends right at this point.
any feedback would be greatly appreciated

Do what you want, some scenes like the debreifing can easily be ignored if you do not deviate or personalise them from the game but they can also be interesting to see if you want to give them apersonal touch. It is really up you what you want to focus on, I would be interested in reading it regardless Posted Image

Same here, After the first few playthroughs I always spare the Rachni Queen, Liara does not even need trying to convince me.

And the fact that the Reapers were whispering "yellow sour notes" did not exactly help.

Just a follow up post to those C64 pics I posted earlier.

I have had a little small talk with the artist about her retro pics, and suddenly she made a short video.

So click if you want to see some 8-bit Liara & Jane.
