I don't have anything against Vega; I actually think he's a pretty funny guy, and carnage is the best power ever! Nevertheless, below is my favorite Liara/Vega interaction ever, within canon or without.

The "lola" line bugs me a little bit, as they could have used "loca", which i think is how you would call a woman crazy in spanish. Being consistant and all. But I digress;P

Vega calls Liara "Doc".
Not as bad as Tali's nickname, but still, I like "Blue" better.

I like Vega too. I think he is a "fan" of Shepard. I got the impression when reading his comic , he fought with some batarians in a bar because they defamed Shepard. The flirting is just some soft of jokes between friends . But I prefer any ME2 squadmate (except Jacob) to him.

Well, Shepard's an engineer - hardly her fault a mysterious force stopped her from approaching the thing.
[That's something Alpha Protocol did better - if the hero is a tech expert he does all the hacking, otherwise the sidekick handles those tasks]

I like him, even though I thought I'd hate him before ME3 was released. He had decent voice acting, provided much of the comic reflief aboard the Normandy SR2 in ME3, was useful in combat, and a was more interesting squaddie than Kaidan, Ashley or Jacob.
