They mean different things here in the US as well.
If the person writing the fic is having a character who is trying to avoid tanning or getting burned they should use sunblock or sunscreen. If the character is trying to get darker, suntan lotion or suntan oil.

What is with the influx of slu**y pictures of liara recently? I saw one of her doing things to miranda. I mean really? That IMO is so OOC for both of them.
Quick quick, something cute to help me recover!!

Anyway, finally got around to gritting through that stupidly long download and playing the DLC (I mean seriously, was it just my connection being bad, or was that download ridiculous for anybody else as well?), and it was pretty good. Can't say it was LOTSB level great, but it was fun, and interesting. Also, Leviathan's voice was awesome.
Kind of disappointed with the lack of romance dialogue though, seeing as that's the reason I bought it in the first place. 'Tentacled creatures in your head' and her weak 'Shepard...' before he/she goes down was okay, I guess, along with her 'don't ever do that to me again.' Ali Hillis did a good job on those few lines, that's for sure.
Also, I haven't bothered yet, are the changes it makes to the ending somewhat significant, or should I not even bother?

As far as I recall there has nearly always been an obscene amount of very tasteless pictures with Liara, probably becuase she has so vivid and explicit (though doubtlessly very tasteful) sex scenes in the game. I hate those pics since not only are they extremely tasteless but also so out of character for her, there is probably loads of asari who would do that kind of thing, but Liara has never been one of them.
Its especially bad on DA right now. Ifyou just search: liara. You'll be bombarded with modded images from xnalra ect, there's even one with a banshess claw in ... The people who make these things shouldn't be allowed to breed..

I think we're low on the brain bleach.
Re:DLC (Mild Leviathan spoilers)
The fact that Shepard didn't come back unharmed was good, it wouldn't fit shepards 'more human' ME3 feel, otherwise. (I took Edi so it was Liara who rescued shepard.)Renegade Shepard felt more like a cranky soldier then a Renegade, and that was really annoying.

Don't bother, it's not worth going through Cronos and Priority: Earth just for the one new dialogue option in the StarBrat conversation. Just do what everyone else does and check it out on youtubeSergeantSnookie wrote...

You mean Homeworlds #4? If so, that's not Feron, it's a new Drell called QuoyleYuqi wrote...

Agree on the badass and eyebrows things. If it wasn't official before, it is now - Liara's a really powerful biotic. And Stasis... I guess it's just too overpowered even for comicsrubynorman wrote...

Liara has always been an exeptional biotic, same I presume with an Adept Shepard, just a shame it does not really feel like that for either in the game.frudi wrote...

Is Liara's homeworld comic any good? as in good story and Liara staying true to who she is etc?
Redemption was hardly exempliary, but I was thinking of reading this one if it was better.
Very nice, thanks for that onefrudi wrote...

I liked it for the insight it gives into who Liara is on her own, apart from Shepard. We get to see how she's handling being the Shadow Broker, particularly in the face of the Reaper threat. She also returns to Thessia for a bit, giving us a glimpse of her life there and her relationship with her people/homeworld. And we see more of her being an ass-kicking badassAkernis wrote...

The story on the other hand is kind of meh, particularly the way the plot progressive information is revealed seemed kind of contrived to me. Why she's focusing on the Protheans, why she believes they might have worked on an unknown failed weapon, why she heads to Kahje... it all just felt pretty much pulled out of the air with no real explanation or justification. And let's not even get into the implied masses of working Prothean technology on Kahje despite the supposed strict Council laws against withholding such tech. Or how the fu*k Cerberus is supposed to have real-time surveillance on Liara, even right in her SB base and on Thessia.
Still, I'm not really too bothered by the unconvincing story, I mostly got the comic for insight on Liara and in that regard I think it's worth reading.

Yes, she's an asari. She was also friends with Benezia, if that's something that might be relevant to your fic.AustereLemur799 wrote...
To those who have read the new comic, is Liara's former colleage (Dr Passante?) an asari or something else? Sorry if this is a random question. It's sort of relevant to a fic I'm writing.
edit: huh, top again...

Thanks
It's interesting to note that Liara had friends/colleagues who knew Benezia - that is something I will need to take into account. I'm kind of writing under the impression that Liara went her own way at university without Benezia's blessing.
