And a new piece from FolksNeedHeroes:
Quite a different style this time, though still clearly recognisable as hers.

Well Benezia was a very prominent figure in asari society so it makes sense that she was well connected in many spheres, from politics to academia. And since she was in on the secret of the asari Prothean beacon she would have probably kept close tabs on any asari research into the Protheans, obviously including Liara and her colleagues.AustereLemur799 wrote...

Thanks
It's interesting to note that Liara had friends/colleagues who knew Benezia - that is something I will need to take into account. I'm kind of writing under the impression that Liara went her own way at university without Benezia's blessing.
That seems to be a popular moment for taking screenshots... I grabbed a few there myselfAkernis wrote...

Looks like the Leviathian DLC fixes the glitch where Liara doesn't recognize Lotsb reunion the first time you talk to her on the Normandy.

Don't bother, it's not worth going through Cronos and Priority: Earth just for the one new dialogue option in the StarBrat conversation. Just do what everyone else does and check it out on youtubeSergeantSnookie wrote...
Also, I haven't bothered yet, are the changes it makes to the ending somewhat significant, or should I not even bother?

Well it is one of the best moments with Liara in the DLCfrudi wrote...

Wait, how can it do that? I thought that was a bug with the flag not being set correctly in LotSB so you would have to change LotSB to solve it.PinkCrayon wrote...

At least Blue can tag along with dialoque. I just wish that Sam had some input...TheCrimsonSpire wrote...
Ugh, I just left a very distasteful thread, talking about how Bioware finally listened to the Liara haters. Apparently, EDI is only there to help Shepard in the Leviathan DLC, because Liara would have been there instead.
Ya....that's right. It can't be that Bioware just wanted more character involvement by having James and EDI there. No no, that would be the sensible conclusion to make. No, they are there solely because Liara was going to be there instead, and they didn't want to offend the fanbase, so they changed it up.
You Fu*k kidding me!?

@ frudi and anyone else who’s read Liara’s comic
From Dr Passante's perspective, she knows nothing about indoctrination. All she knows is that Benezia initially joined Saren with the best intentions (to try and guide him away from his dangerous path) but eventually ended up seemingly willingly cooperating with him. So when Dr Passante learns that Liara is also apparently engaging in very shady activities, she worries that, like her mother, she may also eventually somehow lose her perspective and end up too far down the dark path.I haven’t read it (it’s not available where I live) so I just have the ME wiki summary to go on. What does Dr Passante mean when she warns Liara against falling victim to her passions much like Benezia did, which, in turn, led to her death? Was Benezia leaking Prothean info? – Perhaps that was part of her way of cooperating with the other species/making them equal with the asari?
Liara tells us that it was expected of her to follow in her mother's steps and become a leader or guide of her people; at least in Liara's early life, until she "rebelled" and decided to pursue a different path, she would likely have been groomed for that role. In that context Benezia likely planned for Liara to eventually become part of the select circle of asari who knew of the beacon's existence.Does Benezia’s knowledge of the beacon at Athame’s temple and her involvement with Saren mean that she has an interest in the Protheans? From the cutscene when Liara looks at an encrypted file Benezia left to her, and the fact that Benezia took her to the temple as a child; can we assume that Benezia intended Liara to find out about the asari’s cover-up with the beacon? She also bought Liara a history book, so that doesn’t seem like she was discouraging Liara’s interest in the Protheans to me.
I don't think it's ever explained how exactly Benezia became aware of Saren's plans or how she went about approaching him (or maybe he approached her?). My best guess is the Matriarchs or Benezia specifically had some intelligence that Saren might be involved with the mysterious artefact found near Geth space and decided the issue warranted further investigation. Also, is it made clear anywhere how Benezia got involved with Saren? Other than her wanting to guide him on a gentler path, how did she become aware of his plans in the first place? We know that she gave public speeches. Did Saren go to Thessia and seek her out? I don’t think she would go after him unless she had explicitly heard rumours about him and his plans.

The best laughs are from the Miranda fans, "Man, Miranda could of done that, WHY WASN'T SHE, GOD!"
