That would often depend on which part of the fan base the survey manages to reach, I have seen a survey where Liara barely got any votes and one where she had more votes than the entire rest of the LIs combined. But usually she has one of the uppermost spots, as even beyond the untold reasons why I love her pseronally there is no denying that not only is she the only character that can be romanced in all three games but her romance content is exquisite beyond any of the other LI.


Most polls on the BSN you can throw out for having very low sample sizes, or because the OP was campaigning for votes. Say for example I create a poll asking people to vote for their favorite LI, and create a thread with a link on the main forum. Then I immediately come to this thread, post the same link, and urge everyone here to "Vote for Liara!" I'd expect Liara to win just by virtue of urging more Liaramancers to vote. A lot of people on the BSN who create polls undermine their results by doing exactly that.

They'll also do it with other peoples polls. A while back while bored I created a totally pointless poll for the most attractive LI in the series. I'd notice sudden spikes in voting for certain characters, and when I checked the corresponding character fan thread, someone had reposted the poll link there and was urging other people to vote. On a side note, Liara came out on top in that poll and without the link being posted here. Image IPB

Hey all, new to the Liara romance. I used to be a Talimancer, but saw how close Liara is to Shepard even when not romanced. So I decided to start a fresh playthrough from ME1 with Liara as my love interest. I really liked the Normandy Tour scene in LotSB, very touching, probably my second favorite moment in the entire series*. Am currently enjoying the romance in ME3 and was good to see that Shadow Broker dialogue fixed.

*My favorite being the Wrex broment before summoning Kalros on the Reaper.

Ah, it's good to be back here. Finally got the time to play the Leviathan DLC, wanted to keep away from BSN until finishing it so that I could avoid all the possible spoilers ^_^.

But yeah, if that really is the original hungarian spelling "Feketekuty", by taking a quick look at Hungarian phonetic alphabets and considering Hungarian is Finnish's language relative, the proper spelling would be just like you said, simply "Feketekuty", with hard k and t,  and e like in the word "bell". The hungarians most likely pronounce "y" as "i" like in the word "information". And if the spelling is not the original Hungarian one, the letter "u" could also possibly be pronounced like the German letter "ü". So there you go folks, "Feketekuty". But then again, I'm just a Finn and not a Hungarian, so I might be wrong.

I'm neither Hungarian nor Finnish, so take what I say with a grain of salt :)

If 'Feketekuty' is the correct spelling, then yours and lillitheris' pronunciation is almost correct, except for the 'ty' at the end which is actually a single character and pronounced like something between 'tje' and 'tji', not 'ti'.

But of course Hungarians love their diacritics, so any of the E's could also be an É (pronounced as 'ej') and the U could be not only Ü, but also Ú or Ű (the last two I don't even know how to describe to an English speaker =]). So unless we can learn the proper Hungarian spelling all we can do is guess.

Finally played the DLC Leviathan and it was ok. Personally, I liked LotSB and BDtS more than this one. Those two DLC's were replayed a couple of times the first time out of the gate while this one ... just once. Going back and forth from location to Citadel was starting to get on my nerves and why didn't Traynor or Joker have any new dialogue? I'll have to check Sam's thread to see if maybe romanced she had additional dialogue for them.

I would put this DLC slightly above Arrival/Overlord for the squad banter ... with my favorite part with Vega and the head. I couldn't stop having Shepard play with it so seeing James playing with it really made me laugh. Rating for me was a 2/5 on this one ... I'm hoping that Omega will be in the same ballpark rating as Lair and Bring Down.

EDIT: Nope ... Sam was just as silent romanced. Image IPB

Thanks... it's one of my favourite pictures too, obviously :D. Well, to be more precise it's my very favourite picture of Liara, period. I can't even begin to describe how much I love it :wub:. The only thing wrong with it is that it's the wrong size to use as my desktop wallpaper...

I've seen them on sale all over the place, darkhorse.com, thinkgeek.com, even on amazon. And they're cheap too, like $5 and I've even seen them for $3 somewhere today.
They do seem to be of pretty sh*tty quality though, but what can you expect for such a price. Wish they'd make plastic ones so you could, you know, actually use them for playing =]

Nah, it's just the time of free time is over for a lot of people, and for some it ended long ago. Me, I don't have school and got laid off a few months ago, so I'm not doing much other than job hunting right now...
