I just really wish Thessia was an arc of missions like Tuchanka and Rannoch instead of one short sequence.

The whole reaper landing sequence at the end, was pretty well done (stupid music, screaming asari,..and people chopping onions).  The mission is meh, same ole same ole, in its entirety, Liara's comment about alliance springing for air support next invasion and kei lengs bulltweet - not so much.  I was expecting something like tuchunka on thessia - have some missions then do a major climax mission but no.  Just too short really, no devlelopment or exploration, just devestation and the gung ho rush job of lets hurry up and end shepard's story feeling.

Chopping onions?lol. Thought the end of that mission was good. Didn't you get the joke of having the alliance do air support? The asari are not that good on conventional warfare and war. The turians on Tuchanka did better air support than the asari did on Thessia. One of the problems is that the mission is too short.  Did you enjoy the banter between javik and Liara on Thessia?

Eh Thessia was pretty much lost by the time we get there anyway. The Asari specialise in infiltration and sabotage, Turians and the Krogans are the military muscle races along with the Humans too. The Asari aren't a military race like the above, they are more effective at other things. And that mission is a lesser experience without Javik along for the ride.

I liked Priority: Thessia. My only complaint was that it was a relatively short mission, and not a series of them like Rannoch or Tuchanka. I did like that the writers had Shepard taste defeat, and that we get to see Shepard and Liara at arguably their lowest points. The banter between Javik and Liara on that mission was gold.

yea its too bad it was a ****** ninja that handed me that plate of defeat is all. I could handle the reapers kicking my ass but...seriously... Kai Leng. The wannabe villain.

Also: I could totally See Liara on a harp or piano if we're picking from human insturments. She could do wonders with a flu flooper, jing tinglers, tar tinkers, and possibly a set of who wompers as well. *grins*

Love that scene!

Not just for Shepard's reaction, but Tevos' as well. Her voice actress did an awesome job in that scene. The loss of Thessia really hit home for me when Tevos broke down in sobs, and said she had to make preparations for the continuance of civilization.

I haven't posted in this thread before, but I've been reading it for... 200 or 300 pages now?  I just adore Liara's character, to the point where the paramour achievement was actually one of the very last ones I got in ME2, in spite of being one of the easiest.  But I have just the one Shepard, and I loved that relationship with Liara so much that it just felt 'wrong' to cheat on her with another character.  (That's the point where you start wondering if you're taking your gaming too seriously.  )

I'm an Xbox player, so HQ caps are out, but I wanted an image of Liara and my Shep for a wallpaper, so I took one, enlarged it to 1920x1200, then slapped a filter on it to make it look like a painting and hide the bluriness.  Came out okay, I think:
