I thought the first season was good, so far the second season is blowing it out of the water! I'm at the point where they got the arrow to Kobol and they found the co-ordinates to where earth is. And those frickin' Cylons almost harvested Starbuck! Kara is too much of a BAMF to let it happen though, glass to the neck escape ftw!

I've always preferred season one to season two, any day of the week; the frenetic energy and pacing can't be beat, and the character dramas unfolding are simply fantastic.

And yes, short haired Starbuck > long haired Starbuck.

I don't normally like gender swaps in reboots (I loathed the female Cat in the american Red Dwarf reboot), but Katee Sackhoff made it work. Whenever I see Katee in new material I always think, "Hey, look, it's Starbuck!" and after asking, it appears my friends do the same. She's branded for life, that one.
