That was like ecstasy in video form. What a trip.
I knew Liara's inner stripper was in there somewhere. Repetitive, but amazing.
I can't wait until actual first contact, and the opening of the first intergalactic club.
It's coming, just wait.

Hey guys, has anyone ever discovered this?
I'm currently playing ME1, and I've just found that if you lead Liara (and other LI's, I assume) onto the dance floor at Flux and talk to her, you do a little 'sexy dance' with her. Of all the things I've found in Mass Effect, this is the best of them.![]()
I literally did nothing but dance with her for about ten minutes. Liara dancing is really fun to watch.
I'd take a screenshot, but I'm on Xbox, unfortuanately.
Of course this is probably old news for you guys, but I feel like I've just discovered the holy grail or something.
*snip*
I didn't know about that. I'll have to add that to my list of things to do on my next ME1 playthrough.

@GT Zazzerka:
I only recently played ME1 for the first time (I just got an Xbox) and I already knew about dancing with Liara, but I didn't know when you could do it. I spent the majority of the game waiting for that opportunity, so when I got the chance, I also did it about 50 times in a row, lol. I actually thought Femshep's little butt waggle was pretty cute, though her dancing is admittedly and expectedly bad.

I'm sure Liara thinks it's cute too, right? ....right??

Am I the only one who finds all dancing in the ME universe to be unfortunately awkward?
In any case, there's new Pressure for those that read that.
The only thing I find awkward was the instantly from 0 to 100 dance in ME3 in purgatory with these chicks at the dance floor. Funny but awkward.

Oh, it is awkward to be sure. I find it sort of endearingly awkward though.

Miranda is one of my fav characters of the ME series why they didn't expand on her ex- Cerberus background in ME3 still baffles me, we're fighting them throughout the game, seriously.<_< She's a great character, she deserved more!
I also would have loved some small interaction between Liara and Miranda when she went onto the Normandy in ME2, you think after all they went through to retrieve Shep's body they'd have something to say to one another.:whistle:Another wasted opportunity.
Miranda to Liara: also because i missed out on alot of the batsanity yesterday
I had this fantasy, that I would look across the tables and I'd see you there, with a wife and maybe a couple of kids. You wouldn't say anything to me, nor me to you. But we'd both know that you'd made it, that you were happy. I never wanted you to come back to the Normandy. I always knew there was nothing here for you, except pain and tragedy. And I wanted something more for you than that. I still do.

Ehh. I think that quote would be better if it was from Hannah to Shepard.

Ah don't bleed Bat. :happy: Agreed Snookie. These animations an moves are really fluent and awesome. A Mass Effect Dance off contest would be hell of entertaining.

They are dancers not strippers.
Never question allmighty Shepard shuffle.
@Dragon_Claw WTF:blink:
@lillitheris you were the one wanting a good earthborn prequel? I've been thinking about writing one but I have hard time trying to figure what should I do with Shepards education. As stated he/she was raised on the streets but the game gives me a picture of more educated person.

I really love Liara dancing with Shepard in ME1, her dancing was both graceful and seductive while remaining pleasent and (for want of a better word) tasteful with her enjoying herself rather than showing herself off.
Liara and dancing in general seems to go well together, I know at least two very good fics of Liara dancing with Shepard:
Theo's "Life in the Skies" (MShep)
http://www.fanfictio...fe-in-the-Skies
Themarshal's "A Good Night" (femshep)

@H4niba11: I've always headcanoned that my primary Earthborn Shep was a borderline genius, which explains how she managed to survive childhood on the streets, and how she learned to read. You could maybe put your Shepard in an orphanage or something for Shep's early years, and force Shepard to go to school until the basics are covered. Whether that leads to a lifetime's love of learning that Shep pursues on their own despite hooking up with the Reds is up to you, but it would get reading, writing and 'rthmitic covered at least.

Now I feel stupid for not thinking about that. Thanks a lot. Now I just need a good title.

Ah, not as such—there’re lots of good Earthborn stories, two that come to mind right off are the flashbacks in Dark Energy (I think DE2 especially?) and fluffywalrus’ “Flotsam”.
I was actually commenting on the picture that the flying mouse lass posted
That said, don’t think there can be too many prequels! I think an easy way out would be a ROTC-like program in which Navy officer candidates attend university. Alternatively, you could simply state that orphanages teach, or she still attends school and only hoodlums around in the evenings.
…
Edit: surrogate top! I don‘t remember if I used this already, but I don’t even care. <3
