Im pretty sure that the breath that Shepard has is one of a person going back to life. Thought the worst part is we don't know what happens after Shepard breaths. It is left to headcannon. That isn't proper closure. Also we don't know what happens to the Normandy or the crew after they leave the planet.

I choose to believe that if the writers wanted us to think something bad happened to the squad at the end, they would have shown it. They sure as hell weren't shy about it the rest of the time. So just because we saw them alive, I'm assuming they made it back somehow. It's just unfortunate that so much has to be left to the imagination. <_<

Very true the quality does vary alot and I have come across a few that have given me a bad case of diabetes, nausea or what the frack am I reading moments. Damn BSG lingo slipping into my everyday vocabulary now.:innocent: Ones that were recommended by others here are a good filter I find, and I have come across a few gems by snooping through fav links of writers I like too.:bandit:

Hey ladies and gentlemen, feel free to ignore me as I don't really pop in to the Liara thread. But I did have a hand in the Mass Effect 3 romance DLC survey. It was an idea that came out because we adore the characters and really want to see more of them in future DLC. While, of course, we would love to have character-centric DLC, it's probably unrealistic as it would be very profitable. However, a lot of us would love to at least have more content from the LIs in future DLC, and that's really all we're asking for. Some people would pay for it. Some wouldn't. We are not trying to turn Mass Effect 3 into a dating SIM. That's not the idea. We just wanted to show what we did like about the romances, what we didn't, what we would like to see in the future, and what was a big ol' mess. We hope that you'll take the time to give it a look-see. We have a surprise to add to it once we hit 20,000 hits and then another once we hit 25,000 hits. 8,000 people participated in this survey. Yeah, a half drawn breath isn't closure. My last playthrough I did my best to get that little scene. Mostly because it does imply that Shepard survives. I wish they would do more, but since they are leaving it to our imagination, and because I really like this series, fine, I'll headcanon it. It's just annoying I have to do so.
