Well, lets just say I lit fires in: bushfireseason. I also did things worse then that, until I got a ban. Which was my intention..

The idea of young Yuqi doing everything in her power to get kicked out of the girl scouts amuses me to no end!

It was one of those things that I 'had to do' as a kid.

@moreman

I know, and as soon as Iread that I'm like: second-hand copy for sure. I'm yet to encounter a single-player game that hasn't suffered a loss in quality: when Multiplayer is added.

Urrgh bad news for DA3: multiplayer was confirmed. I wonder how much will be cut to accommodate it. (I don't mind ME3 multiplayer..but..I don't want it in DA).

Be sure to click on the image to view it in full resolution. I have no idea what it would look like printed, but on my 42" plasma screen it's just about life-sized and it looks amazing, even from just half a meter away

It’s only ~5000 px tall, so maybe a bit over 1:2 size? I’m not sure what the max rendering resolution from the 3D models is and how much the textures can be improved, if someone were to render at ultra resolution.

(For comparison, I’d note that my 13" laptop screen is just about enough for a full-face image in portrait orientation at 1440x900 px. Estimate from there.)

Well, this time it is actually EA's fault.. Link
Oh well,  FFX HD comes out at Xmas or Q1/2013:wub:

Back on topic:

Which age group do you think chooses Liara the most? My bets on the  20+ age group. Maybe they can handle the personality change easier?IDK I think we are out of topics..

Oh Yuqi, don't tell me you're a FFX fan? Man, that game's story is so dumb, it hurts my brain just remembering. The only good thing I can say about it, is the rpg mechanics, minus the blitzball of course.

Edit: Well I'm off to bed, got to get ready for some Uni tomorrow, what fun. Don't FTL too much while I'm gone.

I'd say 20+ too. I'm 27, and most of the people I know who play Mass Effect and romance Liara are in that 23-28 age range as well, although that is a small pool of people to judge by I guess.

The story is awsome! I mean it was so sad, and certain elements of ME3 are reminiscent of FFX: ghostly kid, and even the way Shepard  runs and jumps; into the green beam.

20+ isn’t an age group ^_^ <16 are kids, 16–22 are kids with cars, 22–28 you finish growing up and 28– is dead or pretty close anyway.

Yeah It's funny how that is, really. Because most I've spoken too are 20+ as well. There must be a commen reason why it's mostly the 20+ group.)

No Ali is in FFXIII not FFX.

Ah, I see-sorry, I don't know a damn thing about FF other than Ali's role in it somewhere. I kind of lost count of where the series is at at this point.

It's at 14 now.(not including spin-off ganes..) FF7 and FF10 are in the 100 games you must play before you die.  But  the way shepard runs and jumps into the beam= rip off of tidus's jump.

Well I'm 31 (pretty close to dead), so that fits your theory. A while back, my gf and I were wondering what personality types are most likely drawn to each LI (she prefers Tali). It'd be interesting to do some sort of study on that.

Personally, I think it’d just be an exercise in stereotyping. I’m not really comfortable with the undercurrent of these discussions where it’s implied that we (for given value of we) are in some way better/more mature/whatever than them.

If you're limiting it to other games, yeah, but otherwise Buffy did it even before FF...

EDIT: FOR THOSE WHO MIGHT BE UNAWARE, THE SHEPARDESS AND THE QUESTING BEAST IS UPDATING AT LIGHT SPEED, AND IT IS GLORIOUS.

Always been one of my favorite ME fanfics, though i gotta say that the Shepard worship in the second story is astounding and almost unbearable, you can rarely go for one chapter without someone gushing over her looks, wanting a piece of Shepard or talking about how amazing she is. Though it is still one of the best written fanfics with believable characters that you can't help fall in love with and lots of Asari goodness for Asari fans.:P

Still i got to say that it really takes its time with the pacing. It actually reminded me of this Harry Potter fanfic,The Moment It Began, that also crawls at a snails pace before ending with an epic, though unexpected, climax.^_^

Anyway i think PMC's story is a great piece of fanfic literature and one of the best ME fics out there, and of course your mileage may vary on the amount of Shepard worship. Though i still wan't to punch her Shepard in the face, she's so frustrating.

Oh btw I used to be boy scout but I quit after they made me a leader. Not because I didin't want the responsibility but because it was so boring. We didin't have much resources to make anything fun up.
@lillitheris thanks I didin't even know that ROTC existed. I try to come up with some sort of fanfic asap. Huge urge to write. Oh and could you give me a link to fluffywalrus' fic. I tried to find it but came up empty.
