I dunno if you’re the only one, but I disagree. There must be something to reward you if you’ve been together for three games (several years).

I am with lilitheris on this one, while I would stay loyal to her throughout on love and principle alone I think that some of the romance content should remain exclusive to a Shepard that has been faithfully with her for so long.

That romance dialogue actually isn't exclusive to Shepards who have only had Liara as a LI through all three games. Shepard can also get that dialogue if he or she romanced someone else in Mass Effect 2, so long as Shepard breaks it off with the ME2 LI during their first meeting in ME3, and so long as Lair of the Shadow Broker (And Liara's romance in LotSB) occurs after the Suicide Mission.

Really? That's not exactly fair...

I've now played through Mass Effect 3 twice with imported Shepards that had Miranda as an LI in ME2, and in both playthroughs Liara tells Shepard she loves him first.
 
Once before when Liara's romance dialogue was being discussed, someone had said that their Shep had also one of the ME2 LIs, broke it off in ME3, and didn't get Liara to say 'I love you' first. I asked when they had completed LotSB, and it was prior to the Suicide Mission. With the two playthroughs I mentioned, LotSB was completed after having beaten the main game.

So it seems like the criteria (other than breaking it off with the ME2 LI) is the order in which LotSB is played.

Question: I was talking to someone the other day and they mentioned that to the best of their observation, most Liaramancers were the all-three-games sorts. Since I am not one of those, I was curious as to whether anyone else started a new romance with Liara in ME3?

Good call on the costume change! Now to answer the question blue and true throughout the trilogy, I watched the starting a romance with Liara on youtube, (I wouldn't start a new game unless I did the whole haul) I thought the scene between them in ME3, Liara's caught off guard reaction was adorable! She was surprised but not against the idea.

And all this talk of not remaining faithful to Liara throughout the trilogy...

I'm in the faithful through all 3 games camp too, but I like the idea of a playthrough where Liara and Shepard had feelings for eachother throughout all 3 games, but only acted on them in ME3; but the current dialogue if you try to do that kind of puts me off.

While I think the idea of a romance story where both Liara and Shepard become involved with another after hiding their feelings sounds cute, I believe that a relationship as long as the one you have if you have her as you LI in all three is goign to be inherently different from one which lasts a comparitavily far shorter period of time.  
However, I am biased and could barely flirt with other squad mates in ME2 without feeling guilty because I love Liara so much, so the idea of not romancing her from the start sounds absurd from my perspective.  

EDIT: @Lizardviking, I don't believe I ever got that dialogue with Liara in your second pic.  Context?

After you have done the first hacking mission Liara will talk about the SB. Shepard can ask about the SB did to her and Liara will talk about how the SB caught her friend. She will mention that she has spendt two years hunting after him.

And when that happens pick the "You're obsessed" dialog option.

Shepard: You've spendt two years of your life hunting the shadow broker? Liara that's insane!

Liara does not take it well.

My pleasure, I think Moreeman might still have a few Cains in the depot, just keep them pointing in Doozer and Hollow's general direction if you hear a bashee wail and you should be fine

@Crimson: Hey, I thought I sensed a bat-signal!

As for the style of cowl, it really depends on what you prefer. The hair out the back style is very old school, but not recommended if you're serious about fighting crime, because then your hair can get in your way, not to mention get pulled! As you can see, I'm a fan of the half-mask with the hair tuck. Some people go full-mask, and some go with just the eye cover!

On-Topic: I agree that there should be a deeper aspect of the relationship for Shepard who've been with Liara and been faithful since ME1. I was just wondering how many people were more recent converts to Liara fan-dom. Don't get me wrong, I've always liked her, but I've never had a Shep who felt like (s)he had a real relationship with the asari.
