Never liked it, I still think she should have had a full helmet for when needed, those mask are not only completely inadequate for what they are supossed to do but IMO do not even have the decency to make up for it by looking aestetically pleasing.

D'awww, you know just what to post. The Liara suicide talk was starting to suck, then you rush in, all knight in shining armour. I appreciate your services.
I'm kind of glad that scene was left out. I like diversity, but I don't think anyone could've stopped the militant Liara haters from posting pics of it here, all day 'erry day.

Plus it would make me think that BioWare really needs some prozac.


The face-mask doesn't even make sense really. It'd only be useful in a vacuum environment, and it won't stop a bullet, so wearing it anywhere else would be useless.
I liked the ME1 helmet, personally.
It could have something to do with BioWare's 'sexualisation' agenda. Perhaps they thought fully armoured combat girls weren't attractive.

I've only had Liara at the start of ME2 twice, including this most recent one. It's been Ashley/Kaiden for probably the last two-dozen playthroughs. Never again.

Her saying 'Aye aye,' was strangely awesome/cute, too. Guess some military doctrine rubbed off on her.
