I actually support them getting together if Shepard never romances her. I think they'd make a great couple. So I support both friendship and relationship.

Thats the spirit :P

I find the idea of a non-romanced Liara developing a personal relationship with another character to be appealing. If there is one direction I hope Liara's character is not taken down, it's definitely the "unrequited love" pathway if she is not romanced.

Should Liara and Feron get together in some capacity in ME3, I think that would add an additional layer of strength to her character.

That would pose a serious problem. On one side you have some people who believe non romanced Liara should start dating Feron and may eventually become romantically involved. On the other side you have people who want non romanced Liara to still be available to single Shepard in ME3. I think the latter is more realistic. Even when not romancing her, Liara always cares deeply for Shepard so maybe there is still a chance to push for romantic involvement even there. Liara dating Feron in the meantime wouldn't help there....

As for me.. I don't particularly care either way. All my Shepards have romanced Liara since ME1 so I will probably only see the non romance Liara dialogue on youtube...

I think Liara and Feron getting together in ME3 is a possibility, but that it would be more toward the end if thats the case.
I believe new players will be able to romance Liara in ME3 too, but if at one point they dont follow that path, then her character will be free to develop on a different way

I wouldn't mind that ... It would even make those that feels she is "stalking" their Shepard breathe easier.

It might even make them call "foul".

Ash was just acting like she cares, if she knew you're interested in Liara that moment she would react differently.
You pointed out that Ash's line, but you forgot what else she says about Liara.

Yeah, it would destory the whole "I live only for Shepard" obsession people seem to think she has. It would instead show that she cares deeply for the people who matter in her life.

I finished an Insanity playthrough with my sentinel "Commander Shepard"(yes, thats his first name! ) canon shep. And I must say Stasis is a godsend, god like abitity. Full upgrade = 2.7sec recharge. INTANT KILLS armored husks and rocket drones. Instantly drops Ysmir mech and Sicrons and elites.

Only exception are Harbinger, gunships, Threasher Maws and Yang, Pectoral and Occular.

Any one got the feeling Liara was Vesir's WORST NIGHTMARE AND EXICUTIONER.

Warp beats> Barrier and Armor.
Singularity beats>Shockwave.
Stasis beats> Charge.

I like using stasis for my Shepard since we get it as a bonus from Liara and having Shepard and Liara both with stasis.  Vasir never stood a chance.  ;)

When it comes to that DLC, I tend to take either Garrus or Tali with me.  ME1 sqaddies FTW.

If Liara is going to romance someone else in ME3. Then I just hope it is NOT Feron.

I don't need a F -Y from Bioware for not accepting their crummy comic.

Dual Stasis combo in insanity made insanity Lotsb easy. I wish I had Liara in the IFF mission and SM.

I missed having Liara in my party in ME2.  Even my adept Shepard always had Liara and Tali for every mission once I picked Liara up after getting off the Citadel.

Ignoring the comic, he seems to be a nice guy ingame so far, maybe in ME3 we get the chance to know him better, at least give him credit that he care enough to sacrifice himself for the well being of Liara

I queston if he actually did it for Liara or the fact he didn't like that the Shadow Broker was selling a body to the Collectors.  That seemed to be why he was willing to help Liara in the first place.  Or how I took it anyway.

That seems to be what he says as well. He says he's an information broker, not a.. whatever he says and that the Shadow Broker selling a corpse to the collectors went too far in his books. Also he seems to have done some pretty dispicable things. He said Liara was much more friendly to him than he deserved. So his motivation for helping Liara seemed to have been an ethical struggle on his part.

With his state of mind however, much can happen to him in ME3. Liara's unexpected kindness could change him to be a proper good guy but I can also see him get manipulated by Cerberus or leave the SB base before ME3. He's not guaranteed to be in ME3 or on our side for that matter.

I think was both in part, at the beggining he didnt liked that the SB was selling a body to the Collectors, but i see no reason why he would sacrifice himself for a dead corpse.
I believe that his morals was the initial motivation, but after spending time with Liara, he started to care about how she felt. Or at least he felt guilty for lying to her and wanted to make something noble at the end.

He's a mysterious character, and maybe we will see more of him in ME3

Good point.

I could do without Feron in ME3 to be honest.  He one of those meh characters for me and ME2 was full of them.

"I'm an information broker, not a slaver." I think. I don't know why selling a corpse qualifies as slavery, unless the collectors wanted to resurrect Shep and use his/her influence to their advantage. This way they could have him'her infiltrate and sabotage the Council governments in order to facilitate a second assault on the Citadel, with a human reaper leading the charge. Or maybe Feron just doesn't like the Collectors. Not sure. I didn't read the comic.
