Still doesn't change the fact that everything after Mars is an irrelevant side quests - you need engineers and scientists, and recruiting krogan infantry (infantry, as in tiny things that are effortlessly killed from orbit) and turian dreadnoughts will do nothing to win the war.

Mass Effect sorta goes from heroic sci-fi to a more realistic depcition of war (with Shepard just another everyman grunt) - what you do is necessary (e.g. securing that fuel depot, getting krogan infantry), but it's not what wins the war. Saying that ME3 is Shepard's story is like saying that WW2 is Charles Sweeney's story.

You will have to retcon Arrival to fix this. A full scale Reaper invasion breaks too many things to be salvageable (Why would they bother with Sovereign's ludicrously complicated schemes when they could have just invaded after it had become apparent that their trap didn't work? What's the point of stopping the Collectors when the Reapers would have invaded well before they could have gotten anywhere? What would have changed if Shepard had just surrendered to the Alliance at the start of ME2? Plus, it makes ME3 unwinnable by conventional means - if Reapers can freely travel to and from Dark Space, they can just keep running)

The other lines about other chars are fine and understandable.

But that one is just low, harsh and downright cruel. Not Thanes fault if Femshep wanted to sleep around, and definatly not his dead wifes.
