 ^What Mumba???/
and welcome N7Assass1n  don't forget the top photo.
and god we've been OT for awhile umm before i propose a question I'll answer a few.
Spidertalk:  here this article may help some of you get over your fears http://www.cracked.c...powers_p2.html' class='bbc_url' title='External link' rel='nofollow external'>link

As for Synthesis Liara in 4,  basically what Ajorossa said although personally i hope that they put the game so far in the future of the Mass Effect Universe that Liara is dead because i honestly can't see her in a game and not expect Shep, Tali, and Garrus to be by her side.

Edit:  damn you Mumba you edited the mass amounts of periods and lines, damnn you

Oh and who thing Liara wouldn't wear Shep's Hoodie,  she loves that thing.

and in ME1 who do you think would have been more likely to give Liara basic combat instruction, excluding your shep.  or including your shep if you want to split the training into different parts (marksmanship, hand to hand, etc....)

Personally in First Impressions I'm having Garrus teach her how to shoot,  Shep doing Military applications of Biotics and maybe hand to hand I can't figure if i want Tiberius to do it or someone else in the crew like Wrex or Ash.

I have similar thoughts about the next game. However, I would rather the next game have Shep back with Liara, Tali, Ash/Kaidan etc... Moreover, Shepard as a character and the bonds that were so greatly portayed throughout the trilogy cannot be captured by a new protagonist. ME3 gave no closure whatsoever. And I almost cried during the Tali scene where she said "I want more time". Don't ask... Oh and the gift scene... *Emotional boundaries faltering* I'll stop talking now.

I think Garrus would teach her how to shoot, Shep would handle hand-to-hand combat, and either Kaidan or Wrex (maybe both) would show her some military applications for biotics.

And welcome N7Assass1n :)

Wrex:  Garrus get over hear for a minute
Garrus:  What is it Wrex
Wrex:  I'm teaching Liara some moves and she needs a partner
Garrus:  uhhuh
Liara:  Wrex are you sure this is ok
Wrex:  Of course blue just do it
Liara:  Ok,  Garrus I'm really sorry about this
*Liara lets out a swift kick,  and Garrus falls to the ground clutching his netherregions*
Wrex:  Right in Quad,  Now... Finish him
Liara:  I don't think that's such a good Idea
MK Announcer:  Finish Him
*Wrex grabs Garrus by his crest lifting him up,  there's a crunch as carapace is splintered a moment later Wrex is holding the Turians still bleeding heart*

*Shepard come running from the shadows*
Shep:  Wrex... Wrex... No... It was a *views Garrus' limp body*... a joke.  someone get the body to Chakwas and the cloning tanks *facepalm*

That's cool for some reason the concept of Wrex teaching Liara anything combat related makes me laugh  i can just imagine something horrible happening.

Why so much N7 Hoodie hate? Hell, I'd wear that thing if I didn't think people would ridicule me in public.
It looks damn comfortable, plus it's Shepard's. Of course she'd wear it.

It's cool bro. You were probably more reserved than I was/am, I cried/cry like a b*tch. I hate feeling like I'm being punished for being so emotionally involved in the characters and story.
But yeah, I drank my glass of cement this morning, so it all cancels out.

So, welcome to thread, and goodnight.
Also, you'll need to edit in a pic for your post at the top, otherwise the Liara gods will smite you.
They flay you alive, with their minds.

Five hours, huh?
This is the biggest gap between posts in this thread I've ever seen.
What, is everyone out enjoying their weekend or something? Pfft.

Well, that's a bit of a mouthful. Plus I'm still struggling to convince myself that there was anything normal about the way I reacted.

Though sorry if I swear too much. I wasn't meaning to offend, it just kind of comes with the territory - teenaged, male, Australian.

No need to be sorry, you didn´t offend anyone. Contiune being yourself.

Regarding the N7 hoodie. I really hate that thing! In my eyes, it´s nothing more then a marketing ploy to sell the real thing to fans along with the sneakers and so on. Plus it just looks stupid on a miltary officer. Same as with the cocktail dress.

Probably the only times I like it, is when it´s being used like in the BB pictures.

Nope, sleeping, weekends are the only time where I can go late to bed and get equally late up, and I am just taking advantage of that fact. Posted Image

I think that in my case Shepard would handle most if not all of Liara's training, particularly hand to hand and biotic combat.
But then again he spars in friendly combat with most of the crew members on a regularly basis so training Liara besides that would feel natural, at some point she might even teach him more than a thing or two about biotics Posted Image

Liara teaches Kaiden asari meditation tricks to help soothe his biotic-aches, according to an ME1 elevator conversation.
I know she can already shoot, but there should be a scene in the Citadel firing range, where you show her some 'tricks'.
You can assume innuendo there, if it strikes your fancy. ;)
It is a pretty private area, after all.

Had to google that. It isn't very.. military, is it? Plus the galaxy map elevates you above nearby crew members.. so anyone looking from below..
Makes me appreciate the jeans and leather jacket just that tiny bit more.

But without it Liara wouldn't be able to wear it. Or take it off. How can you not see the potential here? ;)

Story time, guys.

So, something amazing has just happened. You remember I was telling you about my little brother, the self-proclaimed ME hater? Earlier today he told me that he was going to start playing through the series, just to see what I've been banging on about.
It's bittersweet though, because he doesn't care about the RPG elements - he doesn't 'investigate' - and just wants to shoot things, he also gets lost a lot (he prefers linear shooters) but I'll take what I can get with him.

We've just talked to the Council after Eden Prime, and recruited Garrus and Wrex. He seems to like it so far. He likes Wrex. The grin on his face when he went into Chora's Den was hilarious. "Is this where you find Liara?" he asked me. Dick.

Unfortunately, he asked me if Miranda was in ME1 (he knows about some characters from watching me play, and watching videos on YouTube) and he was disappointed when I told him she wasn't. I told him Liara was better, and he said "But at least Miranda is a human, and doesn't have tentacles."
Initially he wanted to rush ahead to ME2 so he could talk to her, but I convinced him to play through ME1 and learn the story.
So I think I've got a future Mirimancer on my hands. I'd better warn the Miranda thread that he's coming.
He laughs at me now about my Liara thing, but he will understand, soon.

He also practically pissed himself laughing when he found he could ask the same question over and over.

It's a pretty cool thing to bond over. I like being asked questions about ME, but I never thought he'd show any interest in the games.

So yeah, I may have a Mirimancer for a brother, and he shoots me 'knowing' looks whenever we see an asari, but I still love him.
This could be the start of a great thing.
