Yeah, Denmark. Sven is pretty common in Scandinavia, to the point where I usually rely on the middle names to differentiate myself from the other Svens I know.

I know of a Sven who does LP's of popular adventure games. He's been doing as of late, a run through of the ME series. He is currently in the middle of ME3, and it's been pretty entertaining so far.

I say this, because it would be very surreal to find out that Snookie and him were the same person . Alas, he's a Talimancer, so that kinda ruins that theory.

I can understand a hoodie, but a N7 hoodie? Not like you see SAS, ST6 or JTF2 rolling around in casual clothing show casing who they are. That's what annoyed me about the hoodie, well and the dress. Other then that, I'm fine with it.

BTW, I have started my realism/role play run through of the ME series, and man I forgot how long it takes to get to places if you do nothing but walk.

I was seriously considering coming up with an excuse for Shepard to jog everywhere, even though in reality, it would be very tiring to do that in full armour.

So, something amazing has just happened. You remember I was telling you about my little brother, the self-proclaimed ME hater? Earlier today he told me that he was going to start playing through the series, just to see what I've been banging on about.
It's bittersweet though, because he doesn't care about the RPG elements - he doesn't 'investigate' - and just wants to shoot things, he also gets lost a lot (he prefers linear shooters) but I'll take what I can get with him.

We've just talked to the Council after Eden Prime, and recruited Garrus and Wrex. He seems to like it so far. He likes Wrex. The grin on his face when he went into Chora's Den was hilarious. "Is this where you find Liara?" he asked me. Dick.

Unfortunately, he asked me if Miranda was in ME1 (he knows about some characters from watching me play, and watching videos on YouTube) and he was disappointed when I told him she wasn't. I told him Liara was better, and he said "But at least Miranda is a human, and doesn't have tentacles."
Initially he wanted to rush ahead to ME2 so he could talk to her, but I convinced him to play through ME1 and learn the story.
So I think I've got a future Mirimancer on my hands. I'd better warn the Miranda thread that he's coming.
He laughs at me now about my Liara thing, but he will understand, soon. :happy:

He also practically pissed himself laughing when he found he could ask the same question over and over.

It's a pretty cool thing to bond over. I like being asked questions about ME, but I never thought he'd show any interest in the games.

So yeah, I may have a Mirimancer for a brother, and he shoots me 'knowing' looks whenever we see an asari, but I still love him.
This could be the start of a great thing.

Aww that's cute, well luckily for me my lil sis is also a big ME fan and she's a Liara fan too. She imported two playthroughs into ME3, her canon Shep is Sheploo, she thinks he's gorgeous... no comment:P I'm kidding, he's a handsome guy I'm just more into Femshep obviously! Anyway like me she choose destroy and was faithful throughout, she also was deeply disappointed with the endings. Her other Shep, Femshep she romanced Jacob and then ME3 happened... derp! She was pissed off that he'd do that to Femshep I just laughed, good old fashioned character assassination right there Bioware. She even started playing Final Fantasy 13 because she is a big fan of Ali, eh I just don't like those games but everyone has different tastes. 

She's a bigger gamer than me, I haven't played ME since Levi, don't really have the time lately, whatever free time I have I'd spend it online if I can rather than play games. I think it would be a long while before I'd fire up a new playthrough of ME, my spare time is restricted lately.<_< Anyway it's pretty sweet having someone that close sharing a similar interest, I even pointed her towards some good fanfiction stories to help her get over that ending. I'm happy that your Bro has finally come to his senses and started playing the series... even if he chooses another for his Shep.

In regards to Synthesis ugh I despise that whole nonsense, seriously if that garbage will be forced on us in the future ME titles I refuse to buy those games! So much for our choices mattering, ah yes choices we have dismissed that claim!<_< Shep's story ends with ME3, it's a trilogy story and this has been said from the beginning so I'd be baffled if Shep is in any future games. Also I don't want to see any squadmate characters from the ME trilogy in any future ME games, seeing them without Shep would bug the hell outta me, they're so tightly interconnected with Shepard, seeing them without Shepard in future games would feel wrong and surreal for me. I would rather new characters, a new experience, the ME universe is huge, expand on it.

She's a pretty opened minded person she really likes Femshep/Liara but she prefers to play as Broshep in game, more so because she fancies the arse off Sheploo really! Oddly enough though she has read stories involving Broshep/Liara but she prefers reading the Femshep/Liara tales. But Rae's erm nah would not be her cup of tea I think, not everyone would be into Rae's pieces me thinks.

Ditto on that DevilBeast but this is a really nice piece! Also in regards to the N7 hoodie my lil sis actually has one, it's funny when she wears it in college the only ones who recognise the logo are guys in the IT department lol!

Nah she's 22 but I don't think she'd like the more graphic ones, I may introduce her to the tamer pieces i.e the 'Can Wait' Series, but since she has just started her new term of college last week any extra reading I throw her way... yeah that bird won't fly, she'd rather chill out and play some games instead. I was the same when I was in college, ugh I do not miss all those lists of required reading, god bless the internet, how many times have you saved my butt!:wub:
