So I had a free month of XBL Gold I still hadn't used yet, and figured I'd give ME3 MP a try, finally.  If nothing else, I'd like to get my galactic readiness to 100% and get the Defender achievement, which is one of the last ones I still need.

But before I started playing with other people, I decided I'd solo a few bronze matches.  Knew I probably wouldn't make it all the way thru, but I wanted to at least get the feel of it, and earn some XP and some credits so that when I jumped in for real I wouldn't have a completely useless character that the other 3 were having to revive every 30 seconds.

Well, it works in theory.  But do you remember how freaking hard it is to kill something, even on bronze, with an Avenger I or Katana I?  Even the Wave 1 enemies (troopers, cannibals) take 3-4 shotgun shots, or nearly an entire AR clip to put down.  I made it thru Wave 1 a few times.  Made it thru Wave 2 once.  Got a bit of XP.  No credits.

So then I decided, "the hell with being useless and worrying about other people thinking I suck" (which obviously I do, massively).  I needed help if I was gonna make it thru Wave 3 and start earning $$ to get some new stuff.  Chose Quick Match, set for u/u/b... and I'm pretty sure the server threw me into a gold game.    They'd just started Wave 3, and I turned a corner and ran facefirst into a Geth Prime, which I didn't think started spawning that early on bronze.  (Silver, maybe?)  At that point I'd had enough and just quit for the night.  Not sure if I'm even going to bother trying again, tbh.  Bad enough to be a total n00b with craptacular gear, but if I'm gonna get tossed into the middle of silver & gold games, too...  <_<

Anyway, sorry for all the words & stuff.  Just needed a spot to vent.  Sorta wish I could take Liara's place in this pic for a minute or two:

Actually, unless you had the VS as a LI in the end, Liara would always show up.

And I believe that was less about Liara being the canon LI and more about the sheer lazyness and incompetence involved in making the ending. And no, it was not good in any way, it was insulting to those that had a ME2 LI or did not consider Liara to be their Shepard's best friend.

He's waiting for Miranda.
He doesn't like Ashley, because he doesn't 'investigate', so he won't find out that she isn't as blatant an alien hater as he thinks. I don't think he minds Kaidan, but I don't think he knows that he's sexable. He probably wouldn't pursue that anyway.

Nope, after a few YouTube videos and few pictures, he's convinced that Miranda is 'the one'.

EDIT: Five years I've been playing these games, and I still misspell 'Kaidan' as 'Kaiden.'
