Especially with how loud the vocal minority from the demographic majority are these days. Hell, they can't even see that Liara and Feron will never be more that just friends, ever. And that sig banner I saw about a friendship? bwahahaha! Really? /facepalmjlb524 wrote...

I wouldn't mind if Liara and Feron get together (unromanced of course), but I would prefer an asari partner for unromanced Liara.
Considering how rare that condition is, I don't think it's a big deal.
I would like an asari partner for Liara as well, though I know that would never happen in a million years.

But it would have to, if you're trying to romance Liara for the first time in ME3, and ran into this girl. Liara would have to choose between you and her. And I doubt she'd be exclusive to just non-romance playthrough, because that would be wrong. So chances are, the same deal might happen, even in a romance. It would be wrong for this asari to only have feelings in non-romance playthroughs. Same with Liara's attraction.
I'm not sure why you are bringing this up.
I've stated I wanted her to be paired with an asari later on in life if Liara goes unromanced by Shepard. I didn't say I wanted an ME3 love triangle.

I either have too much time on my hands, am a bit of a saddo or both lol.
I have also the habit of while listening to a song, imagining, what kind of kind scene and what kind of movie it would fit
Anyways, what I'm thinking right now could be like this.
song: Nirvana - Something in the way
The scene I've been thinking of doesn't cover the whole song, but this should give you an idea what kind of scene I'm thinking with this song. Because the song is kind of sad/touching the scene is too, and this would take place perhaps during ME2.
scene:
- Shepard lying in his bed at night, just staring at the ceiling and thinking about Liara because he can't sleep.
- He gets up, walks to that photo of Liara he has on his table. Shepard graps the photo and stares at it.
- He goes to his bathroom, he bends over the sink and washes his face with cold water. when he rises Shepard sees Liaras face instead of his own in the mirror. he puts his hand against the mirror and Liara does the same, so they're touching each others hands with the mirror between them.
- Camera rotates so that now Liara is watching Shepard through the mirror.
- Liara takes her hand of off the mirror and Shepard in the mirror does the same, after that they both take a step away from the mirror but are still staring each other.
- now the camera rotates again, and when we see the mirror from the Shepard's side again Liara in the mirror is gone and there's just Shepard's own mirror image staring at him.
So as I said the scene may not cover the whole song, but this is something that popped up in my mind while listening to this song.
Edit: and yes, if someone has watched the movie called Jarhead, it may have something to do with this scene I made up in my head

k.
Still, if Feron is a possible LI for Liara in a non-romance pairing, I imagine you'll have to compete with him too in ME3 if it happens. At least if you didn't play LOTSB, or didn't romance her in ME1, but was trying to romance her in ME3.
Speaking of which, how would you feel trying to battle for Liara's love in ME3, against Feron?

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Liara (unromanced) doesn't deny interest in Feron if you ask her. She only says it's inappropriate at this time and after what Feron went through.

I base my opinions on both the Illium cameo and LotSB. And I still don't buy the romance or Liara's sudden split personality change in ME2.Robhuzz wrote...
She doesn't care about the mission in her Illium cameo. That was resolved in Lotsb. - "So if we're going to try this, I need to know you're always coming back" - Honestly basing your opinions solely on her Illium cameo gives you the wrong image. The idea was always to have her SB thing resolved in a DLC. This is also why her cameo is so incredibly unsatifsying to those who romanced Liara. Without Lotsb, the image is not complete. So instead of basing your opinions on the Illium cameo, base them on both the cameo AND Lotsb. Only then will you get a good picture of the 'new' Liara.
My point is the romance. She has nothing to add if you romanced her pre-LotSB.jreezy wrote...
And? You're original argument was that Liara
didn't care about her and Shepard's relationship. I gave you an example
of why that probably isn't true.
Jacob does IIRC.Dariustwinblade wrote...
And lets not foget she is the only LI who asks what Shepard wants.

I doubt he will be. The only thing I see is that they will be together in the epilogue (whatever that will be) if Liara goes unromanced.

So you are saying that you facepalm at the people using it? Or just anyone that might have an opinion? It makes me laugh, because there won't be any Liara/Feron romance happening in the game, ever. Romanceable companions in the ME series are exclusively for the player only, they have not, and will not pair them up with other NPCs/companions. And for those that will inevitably say "Well, they did it with Isebela in DA2". Sorry but, that was DA2, different team, different writers, and Isabela was like that ALREADY when you first meet her in Origins. Liara was not portrayed like that in either ME game or novel. So there you have it.Ophiskc wrote...

If Liara was to be with another asari, I doubt she would want children. She of all people knows how hard it is growning up a 'pureblood'. I doubt she would want that for her children.Ophiskc wrote...
For the trilogy it would have to be that Liara met an asari in ME3, that happens to be another squadmember, and if non-romanced get together with her, but it wouldnt make much sense in my point of view then.
If Liara dont make a come back in a future game, i dont believe there's a chance to see her with another asari. Just in our headcanon

Yeah I can see what your on about. I'm guessing this would fit well if Liara and Shep spend a ton of time seperated in ME3 or even fits well, with Shepard before he finds Liara on Illium in ME2.Korkki wrote...

I have picture movie scenes to songs before, most have been epic scale battles rather than this romance sort of thing. To be honest, i'm not usually one for romance in the media because it's always the same thing, but for some reason Shepard and Liara just makes me smile.

The major issues I had with the comic was Liara being completely OOC.TMA LIVE wrote...
Feron lied to her about who he was working for. When he first met her, the Shadow Broker hired him to lead her off the trail of finding Shepard. And Cerberus hired him to grab data on the Broker's dealings with the Collectors, while also saving Shepard's corpse. Which is why he delayed her from saving Shepard's corpse. Beyond that, he pushed her away from a grenade. He took whatever hits she did to him, and never struck back. He put his life on the line for her, and was captured in the process. And he was sorry that she could never trust him.
And her leaving Feron behind was a pure WTF moment.

And as you pointed out the obvious,Liara and Feron are already friends which is why I laugh at it! It's already set in stone that they are friends. That's not going to change. Campaigning for something that already is? That's what is facepalm worthy.

She took down all those mercs in a blink of an eye. The only things between her and Feron was a badly wounded Collector and an unarmed Tazzik who was just beating Feron with his bare fists
