As far as i know, asexual means person who does not feel the need to have sex. Ever. Never. One guy in Japan even cut his plaything off and cooked it (i read that from news) and sold it for high-prize.

Yep, Liara forgets her "tour" of the Normandy when you reunite with her in ME3. I never really noitced that glitch. But after people started to point it out, all it did was annoy me :L

Yes IMO since not only is Liara mandatory to bring on Javik's recruitment in From Ashes but she has a impactful scene with Javik just after Thessia.

Liara is female, even beyond mentioning what is abvious at first glance she is an asari which are an exclusively female race.

Not as much a norm as an exclucivity, they are never mentioned by any other gender-determined pronoun than "she" and "her".

Not correct really. Asexual creatures don't need any kind of partner at all to reproduce. They essentially clone themselves (like how starfish do it), I guess is the simplest way to explain it. Hermaphrodite is also inaccurate because that's more like being dual-gendered. Liara is Mono-gendered, meaning all Asari are simply one gender only. Asari are all female, but they still need a partner to reproduce. It simply doesn't matter what race/gender their partner happens to be.

Also the codex is written from an Alliance/Omniscient point of view.

No, the codex was most likely either written as a joint effort or it written by humans. Beside, Asari have been on the galactic stage for 2000 years, and the Turians and Salarians for god knows how many centuries. Don't you think they would have discovered or found out that the asari had dicks by then?

And someone (mumba? i think) asked the question why someone viewed this thread as becoming a little frustrating lately.  I will admit, Its quality of content seems to be dropping closer to the realms of banned tali thread territory these days and increased OT flim flam (some of it ill admit is fun but..when its constant and outweighing On topic discussions...).  Just nothing interesting left to talk about that doesn't involves some sort of perverted remarks, Liara nudity, or some other juvenile sounding theme I guess.  Guess it was bound to happen though, no more Liara and a pretty bleak looking ME future, and it's getting harder to find a topic that hasn't been discussed lol think that means I've been here too long.
Anyways, I cant be the only one seeing this...can I?

On topic and probably has been discussed but whatever:  Lets say Liara hasn't been romanced by Shepard.  What do you guys see her doing after the reaper war, what kind of character to you see her being without Shepard's direct influence/involvment?  And lets make it interesting with the SB stuff not really being an option, its probably in pretty bad shape after the relays go down.  Reconstructable maybe depending on your ending choice. 

I really can't see her going into civvy life myself (man I still have a little bit of trouble picturing her as a parent this early in her life, but i try right crimsonN7? ), although I could see her enjoying teaching once things have died down.  Would she stay in Sol to help out though, maybe rebuild the citadel, assist the council... or catch the first fleet back to Thessia and do some government job to help rebuild a culture/nation/race/etc...*ponders*  Would she reveal the truth about the prothys and Asari, or would she keep it a secret and gradually introduce such notions into society?  Knowing sudden change usually produces bad results...and all that.
Man if she ever publishes that book and more folks realize what protheans look like - the worship of athame and her prophets are going to go through some serious changes...sounds like it was dwindling belief anyways though.
