On topic and probably has been discussed but whatever:  Lets say Liara hasn't been romanced by Shepard.  What do you guys see her doing after the reaper war, what kind of character to you see her being without Shepard's direct influence/involvment?  And lets make it interesting with the SB stuff not really being an option, its probably in pretty bad shape after the relays go down.  Reconstructable maybe depending on your ending choice.

I think she would write that book and perhaps return to Thessia and help rebuild.

And yes, I also believe this thread has taken a sharp drop in terms of quality.

That's quite a bomb you dropped there. I find myself agreeing with you (for the most part anyway). But like you predicted. I'll speak for myself when I say that I'm screwing around.

I really can't see her going into civvy life myself (man I still have a little bit of trouble picturing her as a parent this early in her life, but i try right crimsonN7? :P), although I could see her enjoying teaching once things have died down.  Would she stay in Sol to help out though, maybe rebuild the citadel, assist the council... or catch the first fleet back to Thessia and do some government job to help rebuild a culture/nation/race/etc...*ponders*  Would she reveal the truth about the prothys and Asari, or would she keep it a secret and gradually introduce such notions into society?  Knowing sudden change usually produces bad results...and all that.
Man if she ever publishes that book and more folks realize what protheans look like - the worship of athame and her prophets are going to go through some serious changes...sounds like it was dwindling belief anyways though.

Tough questions. But I feel you answered most of them for me. She'd destroy the SB network completely (or give it to feron) Take a trip back to Thessia and help the Asari rebuild their homeworld. Reveal that Protheans are the reason Asari are so advanced. (I doubt she'd reveal the prothean beacon to anyone because of the fact it could cause a conflict of sorts between species)

Oh, and I also bust my ass for hours to make some original new artwork for this thread, because that´s where MY strength lies.  <_<

And again, thanks to you people, who gave me positive feedbacks on my pics.  :)

Internet tells me that she will initiate more researches of prothean reproduction with Javik. That seems most logical to me.

Yep, besides the trolls, I think we're all just screwing around. There's only so much Liara you can discuss, and I don't really want to think about what'll happen to this thread when they're done making ME3 DLC...

To be fair, I feel there is one specific topic that has not been discussed in this thread even though I have tried to bring it up before.

Maybe thats why this thread is dying. You people have been around here for months and i cant see much new liaramaniacs taking part to any conversation. I tried to speak about wich gender asari actually are (somebody said, that they couldnt have dicks, because turians and salarians would have noticed. Well, how do you know that turian males dont have ******? And salarians dont do "sex" with their own kind) and i got instally marked as troll, because that topic has been discussed many times.

If you want to keep forum thread alive for decades, you need both active and new posters.

^^Bring it up again then. Now that we're all depressed about our off topic ways we'll probably discuss it.

Are you 100% sure about what "azure" actually looks? And the trick where you pretend to be female is already used, have you ever been in Bangkok?

What Posted Image... I don't even... Posted Image
Liara is female, even beyond mentioning what is abvious at first glance she is an asari which are an exclusively female race.

Actually, you are wrong here. There simply isn't any canonical source to back up your allegation that asari genitals are identical to a human female's - which is what the Bangkok comment is referring to.  You know almost as little about asari erogenous zones (there's that one comment in LotSB. So if you think that you know what asari/human sex looks like, you are inventing facts.

And to clear up a few things: Liara does say that asari are mono-gendered. She is wrong - the correct term is "mono-sexed". "Sex" and "gender" mean different things and are not arbitrarily interchangeable. If you look them up in a dictionary, you'll probably find a box helpfully explaining the difference.

Asexual can mean two distinct things: Firstly as in "asexual reproduction": "a mode of reproduction by which offspring arise from a single parent, and inherit the genes of that parent only."
Arguably, the asari *are* asexual in that sense.

The second meaning is lacking interest in sex. Asexual individuals may or may not be interested in relationships, and may or may not engage in sex.
Clearly, the asari are not asexual in this, 2nd, sense.

Indeed, I do not know what asari sex actually look like (beyond the romance scenes we get obviously). But I do know what asari genitals looks like, however disturbing that source is, and they are identical to human females, lets just say that bioware made banshees disturbingly detailed *shudder*.

Actually, recently, we have gotten a lot of new people posting in the Liara thread. Some lurkers finally felt comfortable enough to come out and type something.

But you know...sometimes I do feel that we are a bit unfair to new posters who bring up older topics. I remember at one point, a year or 2 ago, when I was afraid to bring up topics because I was afraid others would perceve it as beating a dead horse. aka a troll.

However on the other side of the equation, the other posters sometimes get fatigued of explaining a common misconception over and over again. And sometimes real trolls do try to rile us up, so sometimes people may be quick to react and call you one.

I admit Asari anatomy was a large curiosity when I first started posting as well.

So then, if you are a fan, Then I Welcome you to the thread. :)

Also, about the gif, it was an inside joke, no Paddelings promise ;)

I think Liara (romanced or not) would want to return to Thessia and help rebuild. She tells the asari doctor in the homeworld comic that "sometimes all she can think about is coming back home."
She would only change her plans if Shepard (romanced) would want to return to Mindoir or Earth (my Shepard is a spacer, no conflict here)...then they will just have to compromise ^_^

Or we could demand for new DLC: "Mass Effect 3: Fornax, making of"
That should leave no questions open and i think that its pretty tawdry to expect a different race from different planet to have exactly same genitalia.

Ps. I googled for asari reproduction and in some pictures they are hermaphrodite
