I've always envisioned the Citadel as a pretty crap place to live.
Not for a bachelor such as myself, but for raising a (large) family.
But as you said, not permanently.

Citadel would make sense, though. There's probably a lot of paperwork and politics to be dealt with.
Maybe the Council will finally show a bit of gratitude.

Some Alliance or Asari colony world that got bypassed would probably make the best setting for Shepard and Liara's 'retirement,' at least if you are looking for an idyllic existence in the post war.

Would you want a large family? I think I'd only need one or two daughters. Two at maximum, really. Unless Thessia badly needed repopulation, but even then...

Yeah, in my headcanon, Shep and Liara always settled down on Eden Prime when they were done with the rebuilding effort. Nice, quiet, and somewhere you can disappear off the public radar. I imagine that's the place my Shepard would want to be after all that crap...

The taipan is a large, fast and highly venomous snake often found throughout Australia. The taipan has the most toxic venom out of all the species worldwide, has a dark brown color and is often found in sugar fields where it hunts for rats.

Yeah. I like the idea of a lot of kids. I like the idea in real life too.
That could change once I actually have kids, though.

I can see Traynor (who's quite similar to Liara - the smart chick that gets thrust into events that are a bit above her head but proceeds to help save the galaxy), but not Shiala (we know next to nothing about her) or Javik (Liara's interested in the protheans, but that doesn't mean that she'll date date *any* prothean just because he's prothean, and the two don't exactly get along well)

Seriously though, why asari?

Difference between Liara and Javik is huge. Protheans are not what Liara expected and Javik could help Liara to write her book. Javik will soften to Liara (with time), they always do.
