I'll answer you a last time, because clearly you havent been around in the last couple of days.

The original sig i made was this one:
Image IPB

But i changed after people complained about it. Inform yourself better before calling me butthurt and an insecure lol

But this is the Liara thread, so stop with the sig crap, i made sigs to everybody to support the thread so at least show some gratitude

And there it is. You are butthurt because you made the banner. It's a nice looking banner, no really, it is! But the message and its interpretation are not being taken the way you intended, which is obvious at this point. So instead of attacking me, if I were in your shoes, I would look at the message again and try to make it more clear so that misinterpretations can be avoided, but that's just me. You can do what ever you want, you can make what ever you want, but don't expect everyone to like it or agree with it, and always expect someone to have a different opinion and those opinions to be stated. I can do this all day, but its a waste of energy and has gotten far off topic. So, can you just accept that people are not understanding what you meant and stop this pointless debate?

Well I don't know where you've got this idea about Ophiskc's insecurity, but the only thing I've seen Ophiskc saying, while people have been talking about Feron, is that he likes the guy and he has nothing against him, that's all. And that's what his sig is signaling, that Feron is okay.

That's your interpretation of it, and that's fine. I saw something completely different, mainly because for 1.5 years we have been seeing Liara fans crying loudly and campaigning against this supposed romance thing between Liara and Feron, and it continues to happen even though we get the LotSB DLC and Liara says, "we're just friends". So you see, I'm not going to be the only one that has that interpretation.

I suspect that the SB base will be attacked by Cerebrus in ME3. I think this will be how Liara winds up on the Normandy. Feron's fate I think will rest on what happens during the battle for the SB base.

I believe TIM provided Shepard with the base information in an effort to procure the base for himself, using Shepard and Liara in the process. Should Cerebrus attack the base and threaten Liara with Shepard defending Liara then that would explain why Cerebrus and Shepard are at odds in ME3.

Liara is a biotic. The collector was badly wounded and both him and Tazzik were unarmed.

Weren't the Collector possed by Harbinger?

Actually, Liara obtained the location of the SB base through the course of the DLC, Cerberus/ TIM had nothign to do with it. What is plausible is that one of the crew on the SR2 could have relayed the bases general location to Cerberus afterwards. The base though is still a ship, one that can move to another location should it's location be compromised.

The Mission Complete screen for Lair Of The Shadow Broker seemed to indicate that Cerberus knew exactly what had transpired during the mission. I don't think the metaphysical leap to the assumption of Cerberus knowing the location of the base is a leap too far.

However, yes, the ship could be moved.

On the other hand; it's likely that in the turn of events that reveals Cerberus to be enemies, one of their first attacks would be against one of the biggest threats against them --that threat being The Shadow Broker-- so as to capitalize on the element of surprise.

I thought TIM's message to Shepard was the trigger for the DLC. I don't think TIM knew the location at the time but I do think acquiring the SB base is a TIM priority. I think TIM used Shepard and Liara to gain the location. Afterall he does have listening devices all over the Normandy. True the SB ship can move but it only remained hidden because of the constant storms above Hagalaz. A Cerebrus loyalist aboard the Normandy would add to the story though but the fact that TIM has the SR2 bugged seems more likely

Which makes me question the validety of "Liara could have saved Feron". Since I would guess that from a story perspective. A Reaper avatar is still a dangerous foe to fight.

I suppose it would be  dependent upon what point you did the DLC. If you do it post SM and you had a loyal Miri and Jacob, and a crew you just saved from the goo factory, it would have to have been reported by someone on the crew that is still loyal to Cerberus.
Honestly, there are so many different ways that TIM could find out, all different for the number of ways that a player could go through the game. Shepard could even report the whereabouts of the base if that Shepard is pro Cerberus. But it is completely implausible that TIM knew of the base or it's location prior to Liara tracking it down and the SR2 entering that system.

Should this turn out to be the case then Feron's fate may be in question pitting Liara/ Shepard against Cerebrus.

There was a message from Cerberus Intel, but the only thing it contained was intercepted transmissions about Feron, that lead Liara to uncovering the location.  Like I said, "when and how" Cerberus finds out would be dependent upon when you played it, and under what state of loyalty the crew of the SR2 is.

I’d like to think it was Miranda, trying to gain Shepard’s loyalty by reuniting him/her w/ a friend/LI and taking out the SB at the same time or if post SM she’s seen the light. However, it's my guess that we'll never find out who sent the initial lead to Shepard and that it was just another "Go do this, Shep" message from anonymous Cerberus agent #87 or whatever. Either way, TIM knows about Liara.

She already fought him without getting scratched and badly wounded him. She took out all those other mercs without any problem too. The collector was also unarmed. She could have simply used her biotics and send him flying accross the room.
