Well I don't know where you've got this idea about Ophiskc's insecurity, but the only thing I've seen Ophiskc saying, while people have been talking about Feron, is that he likes the guy and he has nothing against him, that's all. And that's what his sig is signaling, that Feron is okay.

Yeah but the roider Salarian would be an intimidating prospect for anyone, paying attention or not. If she didnt succeed in finishing him in one hit, she'd have both him and the Collector to deal with.

I suspect that the SB base will be attacked by Cerebrus in ME3. I think this will be how Liara winds up on the Normandy. Feron's fate I think will rest on what happens during the battle for the SB base.

I believe TIM provided Shepard with the base information in an effort to procure the base for himself, using Shepard and Liara in the process. Should Cerebrus attack the base and threaten Liara with Shepard defending Liara then that would explain why Cerebrus and Shepard are at odds in ME3.

Actually, Liara obtained the location of the SB base through the course of the DLC, Cerberus/ TIM had nothign to do with it. What is plausible is that one of the crew on the SR2 could have relayed the bases general location to Cerberus afterwards. The base though is still a ship, one that can move to another location should it's location be compromised.

Weren't the Collector possed by Harbinger?

Yes.
I suppose it would be dependent upon what point you did the DLC. If you do it post SM and you had a loyal Miri and Jacob, and a crew you just saved from the goo factory, it would have to have been reported by someone on the crew that is still loyal to Cerberus.IndigoWolfe wrote...
The Mission Complete screen for Lair Of The Shadow Broker seemed to indicate that Cerberus knew exactly what had transpired during the mission. I don't think the metaphysical leap to the assumption of Cerberus knowing the location of the base is a leap too far.
However, yes, the ship could be moved.
On the other hand; it's likely that in the turn of events that reveals Cerberus to be enemies, one of their first attacks would be against one of the biggest threats against them --that threat being The Shadow Broker-- so as to capitalize on the element of surprise.

Which makes me question the validety of "Liara could have saved Feron". Since I would guess that from a story perspective. A Reaper avatar is still a dangerous foe to fight.

I thought TIM's message to Shepard was the trigger for the DLC. I don't think TIM knew the location at the time but I do think acquiring the SB base is a TIM priority. I think TIM used Shepard and Liara to gain the location. Afterall he does have listening devices all over the Normandy. True the SB ship can move but it only remained hidden because of the constant storms above Hagalaz. A Cerebrus loyalist aboard the Normandy would add to the story though but the fact that TIM has the SR2 bugged seems more likely

She already fought him without getting scratched and badly wounded him. She took out all those other mercs without any problem too. The collector was also unarmed. She could have simply used her biotics and send him flying accross the room.Lizardviking wrote...
