Mac Walters made some sort QA for people regarding the story and characters. One person asked why Liara was cold in ME2. He gave some sort of answer that really did not seem to go hand to hand with what LOTSB stated.

In short. Just play LOTSB. It answers it rather nicely.

Well, the reason I'm discussing this right now is because I recently finished LotSB with my new canon Shepard. I made a save right before talking to Liara.
I don't know if my Shepard should break up with her or not?

Read my above post. Continuing the romance with Liara really does explain why she acted cold against you on Illium. Hopefully you also did the paragon interupts on hotel Azure.

well obviously im a Liara fan so try to ignore my obvious biase, ill try to see if i can sway you her side.

I think everyone who had Liara as a LI can agree illium was...bad, just like Horizon was. with Shepard being a total derp in both. In her defense bioware didn't even remotely let Shepard fight for her, its not really all on her a relationship needs both parties to participate it can't just be Liara. number one thing that i just smh'ing at  was when Liara's all like i cou'dn't let you go and then just can go "ill talk to you later Liara let know me if you need anything"....wtf.

Plus seeing as how you did LotSB i think at least to me it was pretty clear all your problems were to be resolved in the DLC, thats why it was a complete sh!t illium cameo.

so my vote is to go with Liara she wuvs you

uhh quick question how do you move the sigs around on you foums setting cuz im trying to move around the liara loves shepard one and im failing...badly. im still trying to get it down.

My Shepard would hang up the painting of Ilos directly above their bed for Liara.
My Shepard is the biggest pain in the arse, but for Liara she is extremly fluffy.

Maybe making the BBCode on would make it easier... but sadly you can make just 2 to show in your posts (or more depending on the size of the sigs)

All are good ideas, also the Ilos painting. I would like to have one of this jellyfish that Liara had in her aquarium too.
Just the diploma i would keep safe in Liara's appartment, in case the Normandy gets destroyed

Depending on how Liara feels about demonic illustrations, she may be taking down my Shep's scary-looking death metal posters. Or she could alphabetize Shep's paper novels. Shep will complain that she had them organized largest-to-smallest in neat rows for a reason and Liara will argue that it will be easier to find certain books this way.

I'm hoping for more stuff to do there to be honest. You got the option to put music and stuff on there but if you want to listen to it theres nothing else really to do. It would be nice to have some minigames or something with the music you choose playing in the background. Even if its just noughts and crosses (tic-tac-toe) or draughts (checkers). That'd be fun little comments.

I actually think adding chess would be a really cool thing to do, I mean even nowadays you have chess games with incredibly capable AIs (with difficulty settings ofc) and that could make for a pretty cool "mini" game. Mind you I'd probably spend days on it and completely forget about the main plot just so I could get more chess with Liara
