Liara also seems to be more popular with FemShep because her other romances(sans Garrus) are a tad underwhelming. And frankly, FemShep seems to be pretty much destined to be lesbian in the third game. If you killed Kaidan in the first game(which, according to my experience, is more often the case than not) and didn't romance Garrus in the second, FemShep pretty much has no chance but to be lesbian and of all the romances, Liara is by far the best. This is, of course, once again my opinion. And generally, FemSheps seem to gravitate towards Liara more often than MSheps.

 

Found another. If I find any more decent ones, I'll post them. If not, expect FemShep/Liara in the near future. Or Liara solo.

To be fair, most romances for BroShep were pretty underwhelming as well (there was a rather comprehensive romance survey and Liara/Garrus/Kaidanfans were the most satisfied). There were simply too many romances in the game and due to the sheer number most didn't have any depth. Sure, lesbian femShep has 4 options. But I think Samantha, Kelly (who I liked in ME2) and Diana were all pretty shallow. Steve, Jack and Miranda have very little romance content. Thane dies. Jacob dumps FemShep. And Ashley fans were not too happy either.

Well, I think we'd be hard pressed to call the... thing... we can have with Allers romance anyway. It's like two flirts, followed by a kiss. Really, to me, it pretty much screams gold digger. Traynor is creeping me out, if I'm honest. Yeah sure, you just happen to drop by and be interested in my shower. It just hits a sour note for me... plus the hilarious showering scene... yeah. As for Kelly... I guess you have to romance her in second game to have anything in the third and I've never done that. So I guess you're right, shallow seems to be quite a good choice of word.

Yeah. I wrote this earlier in the thread, but it bears repeating: The time-capsule scene has no romance split per se. The idea was that if your Shepard and Liara are in a relationship they consider each other friends as well as lovers.

I normally wouldn't clarify so much, but it seems to have caused worries that it's a bug. Not a bug - just somewhere it seems I really should have done a romance/no-romance split (or at least avoided the word "friend").

that scene was dumb af.i couldn't just tell her no ,why does bioware love her so much that you can't say no or be rude to her?renegade to her is simply paragon wtf overall you did a good game the endings were fine. Sylvf you do great games period is just that favoritism is so much bs she's forced in mission which she can simply be in the comm.i like bioware can't wait for dragon age or the next installment in mass effect.

be  jerk to her and you well find out how bland she is. she falls into you when you mention the  prothean vision if shep didn't mention it.she wouldn't have cared so much she even insults the human.  she's popular because she's the only alien you can have sex with in me 1.you could have killed a bunch of civilians and she wouldn't even care about there life just yours.really its disgusting how people find this character a li even bioware knew it.it was a market discussion think about really let me help you liara DLC 10.00 now guess how many bought that.Think about what she says the naive scientist is a way to manuplating you into feeling sorry and showing love to her.

Could be.

 

I think he might be the same poster that used to flood the old forums with Liara threads. He'd create one until it had ran its course and fell a few pages back, and then would create a new one the next week that was basically the same topic worded slightly differently.  His posts were often just as poorly written, and he also had a thing for Wrex.
