But people in real life get out of hand with this character doing stuff they might regret later like tattoo her whole face in your back you might like the character now but in a couple years you'll forget about liara you can like a character but be careful about your actions.

And your point is...? I mean, I know some people suffer from de-realization, but I think the majority of us realize that characters in video games aren't real, as amazing as it would be otherwise to hang out with amazing Asaris.

My point the is its kind of strange that some people take a fictional character and draw nude sex images of them, or have wet dreams fantasies about a fiction CGI digital character that isn't real.
Liking a character or being a fan of them is very different than being a fanatic. I'm not trying to start anything, I'm just agreeing with what the other guy is saying

In any case, I think everyone is aware that the character isn't real. Just as the fans in the other character threads are aware that their favorite characters aren't real.
But you and Supreme know that of course. You're real motivation for posting the obvious in this thread is not concern that people are being too zealous in their fandom, rather you're objecting to people being fans of a character that you don't like. You're just trying to cloak the "don't like what I don't like" routine as something else. After all neither of you has posted similar things in any of the other umpteen character threads on either the ME or DA forums.

While I understand where you're coming from, and personally I don't like a lot of the CG renders and gifs I've seen of people over sexualizing Liara (gross gangbangs etc.), there is a lot of tasteful art of Liara and Shepard together as well as fanfics. I don't think people drawing their favourite pairings together is a bad thing at all, and you have to remember there is a difference between the 'fanatics' and people who just genuinely love her as a fictional character.
Also on the wet dream thing, I mean, we've all had weird dreams and people can't control what they dream about. Heck there was this one time I dreamt I was Ripley from Alien and I was able to control an army of aliens and also the Chatterer beast from the Hellraiser movies was my pet >.> what sex dreams people have should be the least of your concerns
