Oh come on, you can't hide the sexiest thing on Liara.
Those tentacles
I think we'll have to disagree on that one.
She does have other ass-etts.

You know, I just had the funniest idea. You know how we have blondes? What would asari equivalent be? Teal?
...yeah, my mind wanders to weird places sometimes ![]()
*mumbles something*
Is there a positive or negative connotation attached to that "mumbling?" Just curious... ![]()
I suppose I better add something of value..hmm

OK new to this thread and, no offence, but I didn't read through the 2,225 pages before this one so this question may or may not be answered already. As well as this thread I'm pretty new to ME and so I want to romance Liara as I think she the bes and also as you can continue the relation ship through the trilogy.
My question is with the LoTSB DLC, I know that if you invite Liara up before the SM she makes you promise not to die, you say yes, but after the mission (you survive, obviously) can you then go and speak to her again, and is there any new/different dialogue?
I've played ME1 on the xbox and ME3 on the Pc and so I'm going to get ME1&2 on the Pc as well as most of the DLC for them, as i said i want to romance Liara but so far have not got the money to get the games and the DLC and so I want to know if I can do this, I don't care about spoilers, I've done enough research to know what happens, in the Liara romance and the trilogy story, but none of the vids I watched have said or shown anything about going back to Liara after the mission to speak to her about surviving it, this made me curious to see if you could and so I found this thread will help from a friend and (all surprise aside) decided to ask this.
Once again, sorry if this has been asked before.
Thanks

Well, I imagine you know that you have to have romanced her in ME1 to continue the romance in ME2.
As for the Normandy invite, you only get that once. You can either do it before the Suicide Mission, or after. The dialogue will change slightly, but only slightly. After you have your Captain's Cabin scene, Liara has nothing more to say. If you activate her on the SB ship afterwards all she says is "Hello Shepard."
My own preference is for having the Captain's Cabin scene just before launching the Suicide Mission if I am romancing her. It is Shepard and Liara's final get-together, as it were. Otherwise it is not as important. In that case I just keep going back to the SB ship until I get all the upgrades, and when I have the last upgrade, that's when I invite her up to the Normandy.
I like playing LotSB post-Suicide mission, but that's mostly just because I think the dialogue is slightly better if it occurs after the Suicide Mission. I play Overlord prior to the SM and LotSB and Arrival (in that order) after.

Yeah i do know that i have to romance her in ME1 and I was planning to, and as for the dialogue a bit of a shame that there is no change, was kinda hoping for a little "yeah i got back, I told you I would" kinda thing, but no biggy if there isn't. And i was going to get everything that i could before inviting her, just to be safe, but seen as you recommend it then i guess i'd best do it, thanks
Only just realised the the underlined bit was a link, nice vid dude. well done.

I guess i can save just before the SM Invite her to the Normandy, see what the dialogue is like then reload the save and then do the SM then invite her. Seems like the best solution.

I kinda wish there were bits like this in the game. I dig Cortez spotting Vega.

Same here. You know i think i agree with about everything ive seen you say... ( i read a heck of alot more then i post on here)

I agree about the dialogue, but I always play the DLC's before the SM (mostly for for the upgrades). Canon-wise you can argue LotSB fits pre or post SM. But Arrival, to me, seems to fit post SM. And you get to see Harby instead of the Collector General. ![]()
But I still say Liara never looked better than in the 'reminiscing' scene in ME2.

I have to say, I've just been reading the Fanfics by Strickens, and i have literally just read all of the femshep and Liara ones that he/she has wrote, they are amazing, he/she is a truly talented writer and if you haven't read them then i suggest you do. https://www.fanficti...89475/Strickens
Also I apologise if this has been said before, I have read some of the 2226 pages, (about 200 of them) and the ones that i did read had nothing about sticken's work and fanfics on them so I though that I might as well give it a post and see if it has or hasn't been said before.
The stuff i find each day about liara really amazes me, how did i not find this thread before. If anyone else has any fanfics that they like, please tell me. I will eventually read all 2226 pages but it will take time

That's why I love the third game so much
All the little bits and pieces going on between the crew, Liara and Garrus chatting up, Vega and Vakarian trying to best each other... stuff like that was what made ME3 a great game. My virtual friends finally felt alive.
Hello fellow Liara fans, if you've not visited the modding section of the forum recently you may not be aware of two mods I've made recently for the good doctor. If you're looking for something to add some variety to your next playthrough of ME3 or a reason to run through it anew then you might want to check them out.
One is a reskin of Liara's alternate "Stormtrooper" armor that has an N7 and carbon fiber theme. The other is an outfit styled around her default appearance but in the shape of Aria's outfit. You'll find them on the ME3 Nexus here and here. I also have threads for them but they're mostly WIP stuff that is not of much interest now.
Feedback and comments are welcome of course, and I'll leave you with a screenshot with her Aria outfit:

I have a small question,
I've recently completed ME2 (everyone survived, if that matters) I romanced Liara in ME1 and I got the Shadow broker DLC, completed that and then invited Liara to tour the Normandy, I then imported my save into ME3 and checked it in gibbed, to see if it imported correctly, but, It doesn't have the fact that Liara toured the Normandy checked. Is this a bug? and will it effect the romance?
Thanks
The third game doesn't register the fact that you re-united with Liara in second game. As such, romance section registers as Nobody. This should not affect the romance in any way.
There is any easy way to check. Talk to Liara often, preferably after every mission. If you have the game patched and updated, you should quickly see if Liara recognizes that you two are still an item.
OK, I'll do that, and I presume that if Liara doesn't then I just go back to a save and edit it so that it says that she did tour the Normandy?

If everything is OK, then during your first meeting with Liara on the Normandy she will say "it has been 6 months" since you two were together. Otherwise, she will say "it has been two years" since you were last together.
